Interesting. So did the person who crashed with her take her body? Or tell her they would take her to hospital then panicked? LE is very good at being able to get make and model from tiny paint scrapings and tire tracks...they should be able to get info out for a bolo.
Wonder where her phone, purse, keys etc is....

This article says it was a single vehicle crash, and she was already reported missing before her car was crashed. So was it definitely her that crashed the car?? Or did someone steal it and then crash it?

[Deputy Joy Weaver] found an unoccupied 2011 Gray Hyundai off the roadway in a curve. The registered owner, Genoveba Ortega Alvarez, was last seen driving the Hyundai in Rockingham County the night before and is considered an missing/endangered person for unrelated reasons by the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office.

Update to above link: The Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying two witnesses who may have been the first persons to find the crashed vehicle belonging to Genoveba Ortega Alvarez on New Year’s Day.

On Sunday, Jan. 1 a bicyclist came upon two males on motorcycles on Bust Head Road in Northern Fauquier County. The two motorcyclists had stopped at the location of a crashed vehicle in a ravine on Bust Head Road. The bicyclist and the two motorcyclists spoke briefly and the motorcyclists left proceeding south on Bust Head Road toward Hopewell Road, according to county officials.

It sounds like foul play or something. Maybe someone is responsible for her disappearance and they crashed the car? It doesn't seem like they think she was the driver from what I was reading. Hope she is okay and found soon!
