Is the police activity at the Rivianna and the police activity at Wollen Mills warehouse the same place? I heard it was unrelated, but does that go for both places?

Is that really "Wollen" or is it supposed to be "Woolen"? If it's Woolen Mills, that's right across the railroad tracks from Riverside Park.

I agree that it isn't the same person. Hopefully, whoever it is, will come forward.

So this guy at :08 of the jewelry video is NOT BG?

Hmmmm. He looks like he is creepering her. Why not go up to her and actually protect her, instead of just following her? It makes him look bad.

He probably didn't want to get mixed up in it. He probably has a job and a clean criminal record. He isn't Captain America. It isn't the job of guys like him to put themselves at risk <mod snip>. If he's innocent, it's not his fault things ended up the way they did.

There seems to be a lot of people milling around there, almost like a movie set in those clips. If someone dragged a girl off of that plaza, seems someone would notice. And if they walked her off somewhere else, without a struggle, then I doubt she will appear on more video, jmo.

Almost surely Woolen Mills, the neighborhood just to the west of the Rivanna.

Or they don't want him to run. Or further harm her if they think he is hiding her as part of a sick game. I never put stock in the titles that LE gives to people--they have reasons for everything, most of which we are not privy to. Unless they specifically tell us he is not a person of interest...

police are characterizing him as a 'cooperative witness' though. i think he's been cleared

they need to know what he was doing before and after those videos. I'm sure they asked and didn't just believe him when he handed to baton to dreadlocks. It's weird bc she's by the jewelers with someone who looks like dreads but it's not the same person, and cell phone guy says she caught up with a black man, but that's not who is walking with her arm in arm. it's the woman.
where and when did the black man show up?

  • #1,008
It kind of strange that she is going in the opposite direction she is suppose to be.

  • #1,009
yah, her hair is coming down over both shoulders. dreads had his tied in one ponytail on the back of his head. she has bare arms and light colored. dreads had short sleeves. it's very similar but not the same person. she's tucked and he isn't as well.

Am I wrong in saying that the guy with her almost looks like the dread guy? It almost does look like his arm is around her too. ANyone else think the same?

I personally don't think it is the same person as BG with dreadlocks. It has not been declared by LE who it is, or if it even is anyone. They are saying reflection. They say the black guy that the witness saw was NOT the BG with dreadlocks in the video however, tons of people on here think it is BG with dreadlocks. I do not think it is BG with dreadlocks walking with her. Whether it is the same person or not, I hope that person comes forward.

You are probably correct. What proximity is it to the Rivanna? I just saw there was police activity at both, and not sure if they are the same.

She's continuing on the same more or less straight line she's been on since McGrady's.

I notice that too. It appears to come up above the waistline in a straight line too. on the left. is open carry legal in VA? would you have a holster on the left? maybe a cell phone case?

Does she seem to almost run when she passes the display case - it's like she ducks down for a second.
Yes, we have open carry in Va. :)

Okay NOW I am confused. This is the person that I have been tracking all along. If this isn't dreds guy, where is the video of him? And then who is Hannah with here??

I will be SHOCKED if the BG description to be released later is the dreadlock guy, especially since it has been stated that person is NOT shown in these videos. Whoever it was that is betting a donut it WILL be dreadlock guy, I'll raise you a dozen. ;)

  • #1,017
To clarify, I am suspicious of :08 jewelry guy who looked to me to be marching HG and matching strides when they walked. It looked to me that person took charge of her and was deliberately marching her somewhere.

apparently it's not a guy at all. it is the woman she is with. and she does look like dreadlock guy. and cell phone guy says it was dreadlock guy. weirdness.

She's continuing on the same more or less straight line she's been on since McGrady's.

In other words she is going in the opposite direct of her apartment.

Thank you. This map really drives home how things kept getting worse and worse for her if she was trying to get home. All she did was get further away with all her effort. What a nightmare. I still can't really fathom what happened in the 45 minutes (?) or so after she left the party and when she was first seen wandering around on camera. Assuming she was trying to get home, it must have been awful to keep getting to places that seemed familiar, think, "oh, good now I know which way to go," just to find herself as lost as she ever was within a few minutes. Poor girl.

I wonder how many women let her just wander by before people started taking notice of her in the mall.
