I have read too many cases where good Samaritans have put themselves in missing person cases only to found out they did it.

well, multiple eyewitnesses saw Hannah with this POI, and it was pretty near the time when her phone was shut off. I genuinely believe WG wasn't involved.

I think the bank footage will corroborate this soon.

It is so incredibly sad seeing the videos of Hannah in what, I fear, are her final moments. LE seems to be narrowing down the search, all very encouraging but, doesn't really change the suspected outcome. God bless her family.

Well, we don't know all that he said to LE, but he looks older than the kids out at that time and rather than following Hannah, and scaring her why not just ask her if she needs help? I would be scared if someone just popped out of the shadows and followed me. Maybe he did ask, but then why keep following? JMO

I really believe you people suspecting the "<modsnip> white guy" need to back off this thought and re-assess your thoughts on this case. The reason I don't think it could be him at all is because LE is outright saying so, and Heather's abductor is more than likely Morgan Harrington's abductor -- and he's a black man.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WRIC) - UPDATE: The Charlottesville Police Department has released a description of a man a witness has identified as having contact with Hannah Elizabeth Graham the night she disappeared.

This person is described as a black male, 5'10"-5'11", 250-285 pounds, close shaved head, goatee, with a slight 'beer belly'. He is described as being in his late 20's-early 30's and wearing black jeans and a white t-shirt.

He was seen with Hannah in the area of East Main Street on the Downtown Mall in the city of Charlottesville around 1-1:15 a.m. on September 13 (Friday night/Saturday morning)

Police are considering him a person of interest and ask if anyone has information on him or saw him that night, please call the tip line at 434-295-3851.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WJLA/AP) - Police said Thursday they were seeking to talk to a man who was seen by a witness with a University of Virginia student the night she disappeared.

The man was described by police as black, between 5-foot-10 and 5-foot-11, 250 to 285 pounds, with a close-shaved head, goatee, and a slight "beer belly." Police said the man was in his late 20s to early 30s and was wearing black jeans and a white t-shirt.

Pleasants said this man was seen with Graham in the the 300 to 500 blocks of East Main Street on the Downtown Mall around 1 to 1:15 a.m. on Saturday.

"We certainly need to talk to this person and see what his interaction was," Pleasants said.

The man isn't seen in either video. The second video appears to show someone next to Graham, but Pleasants said it was her reflection in the store window.

Oh wow, that's really interesting. It also says he was walking with her, which isn't something they said before. I wonder what their source is, since I don't think that's what's being reported yet stateside. Maybe they are getting information from her family directly, since they are British?
