She is not missing from Rocky Mount, NC...she's missing from Rocky Mount, Virginia. Rocky Mount is not too far from where we live and there are plenty of places to hide a body. I'm really concerned that there isn't much news being reported about her disappearance. I'm also confused at the different things I've read. One article says she left her two year old child with family and left and another paper says her boyfriend went out for 10 minutes and she was gone when he got home. Did she leave while he was gone for 10 minutes? Did she leave him because he's abusive? Who reported her missing? I know I left an abusive husband years ago while he was a work. I hid my daughter at my mom and dad's. I pray Heather is ok.

The search continued Friday in Franklin County for Heather Hodges, who has been missing for nearly 2 weeks.

Just for reference: 2.5 hours from Morgan Harrington.

Her sister dropped her off earlier in the day, the boyfriend is the last to see her around 10pm. I am unclear on if she dropped off her daughter.
The leaving to go get food and coming back to a missing or murdered woman story sounds fishy...
But it has happened before where the guy was innocent. :twocents:

The Hodges family says the relationship between Heather and her 40-year-old boyfriend goes back some 10 years. They call the relationship abusive and controlling.
Heather's mother even claimed to have domestic charges pending against him.

The sister says that just two weeks ago Heather told her that if something happened to her she is not suicidal and to never stop looking for her in order to bring her envisioned murderer to justice.

22-year-old Heather Dialian Hodges was last seen by her boyfriend, Paul R. Jordan II, on Monday, April 9, 2012 at approximately 10:30 p.m.

Jordan, who’s 39-years-old, advised deputies that he left the residence they shared in Franklin County for approximately ten minutes and upon returning was unable to locate Heather.

"It's every possibility that she's missing because she wants to be," Maxey said.

However, Maxey said the key difference this time is that Hodges has been gone for so long without calling anybody.
