Taking off with Mom's ex always makes the hair on my neck stand up. I hope she is found soon. Why??? Why do men take off with teenage girls so often?!!!

I’m getting elements of SLP. The teen that left willingly with the older man who was “saving her”, but who actually ended up abusing her. He hid her and didn’t contact authorities.

Agree. Just don’t get why so little info has been released. By now we know the answers to those questions. No friends have released info about a relationship, no coworkers have spoken of his character or job, no family has spoken of his financial means. Usually we hear something like he emptied back account, all savings etc. absolutely nothing here.

If he does in fact have a record, depending on what it is, this may be why they are only directly making a plea to her. They may want to make him think this is all on her so that he doesn’t do anything to her. MOO

I am not sure, but they charged the guy who ran off to Mexico with his daughter's friend with "interfering with the custody of a minor", so that's my first guess. MOO

Yes that case was very similar to this one but when they put out the missing and endangered alert they also put out a warrant for his arrest

Yeah, until we hear information to the contrary I'm also thinking along the lines of Lynch grooming Isabel. As for any "willingness" to go camping (AKA hiding out) Lynch is an adult and absolutely knows what he's doing is wrong regardless of anything Isabel can say.

And it wouldn't surprise me to learn that Lynch hooked up with the mother specifically to get close to Isabel. It reminds me of Daniel Paul York, who married a woman who mysteriously disappeared shortly after and took off with her young daughter. He was caught and is facing trial but the girl's mother Rosselys Felix hasn't been seen since 2016. Isabel's mother should count herself lucky IMO.

Oh, when Lynch is caught he may claim they are in love and Isabel may even say the same. But that changes nothing; he's breaking the law. Let's hope that he doesn't do anything stupid in the meantime. MOO.

Maybe they have one out but it’s not being publicly announced in order to keep Isabel safe. LE does lots behind the scenes that we might not ever know about.

In the PA case, the young lady was 16. That complicated things in terms of available charges. In addition, charges like statutory rape must be proven, and without willing victims that can be hard to do. Every state is different, so it's hard to make a guess.
