Missing Person - JENNA MARIE PAPPAS, W/F, 26 years old, 5'2", 125 lbs, Brown Hair, Brown Eyes. Pappas was last seen on Friday, June 1, 2018 leaving the Life Center of Galax. She told family members she had arranged a ride to return home to the Richmond, VA area. Pappas has not been seen or heard from since. No clothing or vehicle description is available. Pappas was reported missing today, June 7, 2018. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Galax Police Department at 276-236-8101.

Missing Southwest VA woman may be in Richmond
The Galax Police Department in Southwest Virginia says a 26-year-old missing woman may be in the Richmond area.

Jenna Marie Pappas was last seen on June 1 leaving the Life Center of Galax - drug addiction treatment center. She told family members she had arranged a ride to Richmond.

She has not been seen or heard from since.

She's 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 125 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. There's no information on what she was wearing or a vehicle description.

This is a tough one. Voluntary disappearance or not??

It would be a good practice when getting a ride from someone to name them to somebody they know, just in case.

If she was at a rehab center, she could have gotten a ride from anyone. People like to help.

Or she could have connected with someone who still wants to go out and test the waters and not get clean and sober yet.

One way or the other, it's concerning.

I know. I've known this type of thing to happen. If someone isn't committed to sobriety, it's easy to find someone else who is not.

I also know at rehabs, fellow clients will be more than happy to give someone in need a ride home. They are in an environment where they are expected to trust each other and put down their guard, to be forthcoming and honest. So yeh, I can easily see her getting a ride from another client. I just wish she had told a couple of people who she would be riding with, to later remove all question, ya know?

She is still missing:

“Pappas is described as a white female, 5’2” tall, 125 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. No clothing or vehicle description is available.

She is believed to be with Brian Christopher Campbell, in the rural area of Suffolk. Campbell is described as a white male, age 28, 6’3” tall, 175 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.”

UPDATE - Missing Person - JENNA MARIE PAPPAS, W/F, 26 years old, 5'2", 125 lbs, Brown Hair, Blue Eyes. Pappas was last seen on Friday, June 1, 2018 leaving the Life Center of Galax.

Information obtained during the investigation is that PAPPAS was last seen with BRIAN CHRISTOPHER CAMPBELL, W/M, 28 years old, 6'3", 175 lbs, Brown hair and Blue Eyes.

PAPPAS and CAMPBELL were last known to be in a rural area of Suffolk, VA on Saturday, June 2.

So is he missing also? Because he had a court date on the 6th that was continued. It doesn't say "failure to appear" and a new date set. Almost appears as though he went to court.
