May 2012:

A Prince William County woman who helped barricade three of her children in a room using drywall was sentenced to nine years in prison Thursday morning.

Circuit Court Judge Richard Potter imposed the sentence on Christina Moore, 26, suspending 7 1/2 years. She will receive credit for time already served, and ultimately serve less than six more months, according to David Daugherty, her defense attorney.
