Dior has made a super smart bargain, they paid him less than $20M for original deal (I saw every 3 seconds at one point).

at I believe $160/bottle, that’s some serious change.

I also imagine part of the reason he spoke so confidently on Disney being happy to continue reeling in their cut of Jack Sparrow merchandise, is because his agent negotiated a cut of merchandise sales to him as well.

Absolutely! In fact I betcha he owns Jack Sparrow, remember he said something to the effect he has Jack in a Box?

AH says it’s a sad day for women of abuse..
Why would AH not be sorry for ALL victims of abuse ?
A victim can be a MAN!
And WAS !
In for a penny, in for a pound, is our Elaine… probably her fees are contingent on AH winning… good luck Elaine.

The transcript and tapes from the Australia incident where she threw the bottle and cut off the tip of his finger are just awful awful awful.

It's clear that substantial substance abuse was going on by both parties. And that she was intentionally medicated by a physician, with a prescription anti-psychotic drug, to be removed from the country and flown back to LA by private jet to avoid facing serious assault charges.

The drug use and behaviour of JD in that incident is also extremely disturbing. His drug use appears to be uncontrolled, and highly destructive as per the arriving medics and security.

He may wear the scar on his finger as a badge, but it should be a constant reminder that he must eliminate all inappropriate drug use to save his life, his reputation, and for his children.

He's getting massive adulation now, but had that tape been available and broadcast, he would not be coming off so radiantly.

I hope he really has this under control.

Can you imagine how mind blowing it must have been for them when they got on the Internet and saw all the stuff that was withheld from the court? o_O

I thought the same thing, maybe a pro bono case and that's why she wants to appeal.

IYKWIM.
This is what I've suspected for a long time, even her interviews seem to lean that way.

"OK, fine, back to salacious: Does she identify as bisexual? As soon as the question is out of my mouth I feel like an idiot. “I don’t identify as anything.” As tempted as I may be to explain AH’s sexuality, I’m going to let her do it:

“I’m a person. I like who I like. I happened to be dating a woman, and people started taking pictures of us walking to our car after dinner. I [was] holding her hand, and I realized that I have two options: I can let go of her hand and, when asked about it, I can say that my private life is my private life. Or I could not let go and own it.” Guess what she did.

That’s when the Hollywood Industrial Complex rumbled to life.

“Everyone told me: ‘You cannot do this.’ I had played opposite Nicolas Cage [in one movie], and in another I was playing opposite JD. And everyone said, ‘You’re throwing it all away. You can’t do this to your career.’ And I said, ‘I cannot do this any other way. Watch me.’ ” At this point, I decide with absolute certainty never to cross her."

“They pointed to no other working romantic lead, no other actress, that was out. I didn’t come out. I was never in. It’s limiting, that LGBTQ thing. It served a function as an umbrella for marginalized people to whom rights were being denied, but it loses its efficacy because of the nuanced nature of humanity. As we become more educated and expand the facts of our nature, we keep adding letters. It was a great shield, but now we’re stuck behind it. It’s so important to resist labels. I don’t care how many letters you add. At some point, it’s going to spell ‘WE ARE HUMAN.’ ”

Why Said She Was "So Wrong, Just So 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Wrong"

Wow. In the full interview Elaine says one of the very first things Amber said post-verdict was “I am so sorry to all these women” implying that she felt she let all these other women down. Elaine really doubled down during this interview, going so far as to say that so much of the evidence was surprised and Depp had the “celebrity status” (though she would not go as far to say that Depp had more celebrity status that Amber as that would undermine many of her arguments made in Court…) that affected the jury and their verdict. She also thinks “how could you not?” avoid the media and social media and the news of the jury, especially when they had that several days long break during the trial.

She closes with mentioning Amber’s next step is appeal. I would think not, but seeing her try and double down on all of this today makes me wonder if there was any contingency on winning? It’s one thing to make these arguments in court, but to double down on many of the same arguments after the verdict is rendered on national media no less, tbat seems like a poor choice that I don’t know why EB would make otherwise. JMOO.

The claimed by AH "Mountains of evidence" has now been re-written to "enormous amounts of evidence" by EB.

Sigh....The reason why your 'evidence' was not allowed in trial, is because it was deemed questionable evidence. Meta-data anyone?
The UK may have allowed it, but Judge Penny said No No No.

Of course, you’re also talking about the woman who lied in her closing argument re: evidence 4x, causing Depp team to have to object, so… I guess EB likes being verbally abused by her clients, as she’s sticking by this one.

also, I feel sure that the first thing that would happen would be JD team renewing their request for AH electronic devices…

He was a sad, sick mess.

To try to claw one's way from the clutches of addiction while enduring the brutality inflicted by AH was a near insurmountable task.

He appears to be doing well and retains his wit and talents, and love for life. If he has continues to have truly caring friends (not those that WANT something from him), trusted family members, and dependency-knowledgeable people close by, he is and will be greater than he's ever been. jmo

I always thought that it was very much the elephant in the room that nobody was going to talk about. I also thought it might be the reason behind her aggressiveness, in that she can't come to terms with what her true identity is.

The boss of a domestic violence counselling service has revealed that since a jury reached their verdict today in the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard defamation trial, they've already been inundated with calls from survivors in Australia.

Full Stop Australia chief executive Hayley Foster told A Current Affair she's concerned about what Depp's defamation case win against his ex-wife Heard will mean for survivors of abuse.

"This case and cases like it make it difficult for people to speak out and it does have a very chilling and silencing effect," Foster said.
