Just one more of her lies... AH was not wearing Arnica cream because she can't spell Arnica. And the lawyer didn't even care to check what "AMICA" is...
And btw, Arnica doesn't work overnight nor does it work as a concealer to hide bruises.

MOO JMO
I keep waiting to hear more about this, as it seems almost impossible after this trial time spent on it for the JD team not to have to waste a few minutes having some medical professional weigh in on it in rebuttal... it's funny because I've tried it, and I've also seen folks rave about its helping them so so much, well, based upon my bodily response I strongly suspect they're confusing it for placebo/WANT to think it has helped them...

I am very fair complexioned like Amber Heard, and bruise as easily as a ripe peach. I admit it right up front. Like I said, arnica cream did nothing; and that's partly because nothing can help me, because I'm practically transparent; and because of how arnica works.

The medical principle is, it dissipates the subcutaneous blood faster, by dint of massaging in the cream into the bruised area.

That's it.

I've no doubt it does something; but you had might as well use coconut oil, or olive oil like, is it Nigella Lawson who's always saying she uses it topically as a beauty preparation? And I agree, it is anything but an immediate fix since, as I mention above, I've used it and noted no difference. Bruises heal when they heal...

Asking Isaac Baruch about it is/was hysterical. Maybe Attorney Bredehoft was vainly hoping that "artsy=homeopathic", and that she could thus trick him into identifying it by launching into some florid description of what it does.

An Attorney done a video on the bed chip incident and has also alleged most likely done from a knife. I don't think it happened the way AH said, if you hold someone down by your knee, you need most of your body weight forwards, if it's on the back foot it will allow the person underneath to push up with their hands and escape. I don't think the video is 100% correct because it's quite easy to chip the sharp corner off on timber as the sample he has is rounded on the corner edge.

Well, this is the same woman who also claims that a ping pong table (a photo of which we've seen; it's in her exhibits) made of chipboard, held both she and Johnny for any time before it collapsed under their weight (everyone with a brain would know they would fall through instantly; whereas it's just collapsed, with paddles setting atop it, not even broken); so her knowledge of anything science is pretty embarrassing (looking hard at you, Elon Musk, raving about her intelligence).

I'm not sure I agree with it chipping easily unless it was already damaged beforehand

ETA .. meaning that something had already been dropped on it or something like that to weaken the edge. If that makes sense. I can't imagine a shoe doing that unless it was a spiky heal.

Could someone explain to me the references to Marilyn Manson and what they are talking about? I've obviously missed out on something important because I can't figure out why they keep trying to make a connection.

They're trying to make the connection, because he's currently being sued by some exes for sexual abuse.

She has come out using Evan Rachel Wood, Marilyn Manson's ex and one of the accusers, as bolster for her contention that powerful men can do whatever they want.

Now, the stories I've heard about Marilyn Manson, I think he is definitely a poor choice for Johnny Depp to spend any time with but, I think it's a huge humongous stretch to imply that during their 3-day weekend, MM was anywhere near Australia, lol... in fact, I'm not even sure if her side believes it as she's espousing it.

Considering the breadth of her witness list, if it was in any way probable to subpoena him to show up and testify as to his whereabouts I can't imagine why he wouldn't be included there; the fact that she hasn't even tried, indicates to even me that she knows it's a big nothing desperate Hail Mary even as she's doing it.

She's trying to take shameless advantage of the fact that it clearly never occurred to JD to keep a security team member living with them in the Australian house, and that the entourage instead had to be billeted some 20 minutes away in the tourist district because that was the closest location of anything that might pass as a hotel. Would that he had!!

I also recall that JD's team drew out from Ben King, the fact that the estate has its own security team paid for by the owner, who were, at minimum, patrolling the grounds and driving up to the gate; so it's not as sinister and "The Shining"-secluded as one might heretofore think.

In short, IMO she's desperately hoping to convince someone that he had MM involved in this fictitious "assault", 'cos she's desperate and willing to try anything, even up to and including accusing JD of enjoying passing her around to his friends.

MOO on MM: He is an accused sicko who has allegedly raped and abused women in his life, and by referencing him AH is trying to suggest that JD IS the company he keeps. Guilt by association.

Agreed; but as I say above, not JUST that; Ben King was clearly (IIRC) asked if he had literally seen Marilyn Manson at the Australia home.

Yes, she's that desperate.

Yes, she's that (IMO) bizarre.

NEW INFO: #AmberHeard will return to the stand next Monday and we can tell you actress Ellen Barkin will testify along with AH sister, Whitney Henriquez. And, #JohnnyDepp will be called to testify

Soooooo... Amber's basically prepared to wrap up her witnesses after Ellen and Whitney?

That's what I hear them saying, if she's already talking about calling Johnny to the stand. (I could of course be wrong...)

Ellen Barkin must really be a world class grudge-holder.

Let's hope JD team is prepared for their rebuttal of his second go-round at the hands of Rottenborn.

Thank you so much @squareandrabbet .. you are a wealth of info when it comes to this case!

So if I'm reading this right, AH just basically assumes that the jurors know who MM is and would know about his current (or past) relationships and what is going on in his life? .. how else would she expect them to know what she (or her attorneys) are insinuating with their constant reference to him? If I were on the jury .. I would have no clue and would maybe think it had to do with drugs or something. Of course, to be honest .. I wasn't sure if he was a male or female because of the name. (sorry .. no disrespect meant)

Thank you again for explaining!

Is that normal to call a witness for the defendant that has already testified? Why would they not ask questions when he was on the stand the first time?

His name is actually Brian (not quite as showbiz as MM lol).
I personally think all her MM references are more for the court of public opinion rather than aimed just at the jury,I think she knows she has 2 juries deciding her fate in the grand scheme of things IMO.

How come Whitney is allowed to testify when she didn't complete her deposition?, is that OK?, I am pretty ignorant on how these things work.
If she gets to call Ellen Barkin then I want to hear from Kate Moss,Winona and Vanessa at the very least!

Barkin had a brief relationship with Depp on the set of the movie Leaving Las Vegas in the late 1990s. She is listed as video deposition.

As one of those jurors (in the outside world), I would have never made the connection. I probably would have chalked it up to something else that had absolutely nothing to do with this case. lol

Yes, literally; the Heard team is clearly functioning this whole trial long (IMO), on the desperate "sling everything at the wall and see what sticks"/"where there's smoke, there's fire" proposition.

They know they have a total lack of actionable content; so they're hoping to trompe l'oeuil people into believing there is substance behind their witness list of 85 people, and in their exhibits list of some 1,000 line-items, less than 100 (approximately) of which pieces so far have actually made it into evidence.

As per JD in UK (?) deposition, he and Ellen Barkin had a fling in the 1990s that didn't end well (she wanted more; he didn't).

As per secondhand info, it's been said she has claimed he threw a wine bottle at her.

Otherwise I'm not sure she has anything to which to testify; and nothing says she won't be another Alejandro in the actuality.

I don't think she is.

Either she finished depo up really quickly, or Angenette Levy does not know this part of the equation.

I must admit that it did leave a bad taste in my mouth when I heard him referenced, not enough to change my opinion but enough to think JD has pretty bad taste in the company he keeps, but then his relationship with AH already told me that ;)
