OMG, the audacity of these people…

A spokesperson for Heard has released a statement this morning ahead of the continuation of the trial.

"There's an old saying by trial lawyers: when the facts are on your side, argue the facts. When the facts are not on your side, pound away on the podium. Today, we expect Depp's attorneys will instead pound away on the victim," Heard's representative said. "We fear it will be equal parts shameful and desperate. And, the overwhelming evidence -- the truth -- is not on Depp's side."

In the statement sent to Newsweek, they also confirmed they expect Heard's cross-examination to begin later today after the direct questioning from her own legal team has concluded.

Further elaborating on their predictions from Depp's team, they said, "The one thing we suspect Depp's attorneys will avoid is the central issue of this trial: does Amber or any woman have the First Amendment Right of Freedom of Speech."

Attached to the statement was a link to a document from the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV). The five-page publicly available document is titled, "Who is Doing What to Whom? Determining the Core Aggressor in Relationships Where Domestic Violence Exists."

Good morning. I am here watching the live stream, still from my position on the fence.

Looks like they "discovered" inconsistencies in her testimony while on break. So starting out correcting dates.

AH gives me anxiety, so I'm going to watch the trial for the murder of Dan Markel. However, I wanted to point out that L&C has not been showing the photo evidence. Maybe you guys already figured that out, but I just realized it over the past week when I was reviewing some of the testimony. I guess this happens because L&C is showing a split screen showing JD & AH.

Sky News YT channel is showing the evidence. So if I watch, I'm going to use L&C in one tab for reactions and Sky News in another tab for evidence. Here's Sky's link for today

As for the First Amendment rights issue being broached, if I were JD team I’d be like ‘You first.’, lol.

WOW! She is already attempting to change/alter her story that she testified to last week. Sneaky and dangerous

Yeah, I’m following your lead, as it’s a little bit hot in my living room and the portable a/c is in the bedroom… we have central but it’s not switched over yet.

How can the court allow this?!? Clearly she’s been on social media this week against the judge’s orders, taking tips and advice.

She was admonished not to talk to her counsel about her testimony during break. Seems like she did…

Depp's first act of physical violence

Amber Heard is asked about the first time she alleges Johnny Depp hit her.

She tells the court: "You never forget it, it changes your life forever, you never forget something like that. I just had the date wrong." She has changed the date of the original incident, which she says happened during an argument over Depp's "Wino Forever tattoo" in early 2013. Heard now says she believes the first act of violence actually took place in 2012.

Heard goes on: "I'm embarrassed to say I would have liked to believe I wasn't hit so early in the relationship and stayed."

She says there was part of 2012, during a period when she says Depp was sober which was "peaceful", however she says the early part of the year before he got sober was "violent and chaotic".

She is asked about the UK Depp v The Sun court case in London in 2020. Heard confirms that there were 17 acts of physical violence, and thee acts of sexual violence given as evidence during that case.

'Have you ever played a guitar?'

The lawyer says to Amber Heard: "You've told us you've never played a guitar, but have you ever acted with a guitar?"

Heard answers: "I have posed with a guitar", then jokes, "it turned out I was unteachable."
She is asked about an audio clip the court has previously been played, during which she can be heard repeating the word "sofa".

Heard explains that it was a form of safe word, and meant time out, or cool down. In the audio footage Heard appears to be telling Johnny Depp to go and sit down.

JD already got to that, I guess there are some slow people out there rooting for the defense…

Holy crap, they are going to try to correct all of her inconsistencies. What a complete joke.
