Wait, is the defense trying to imply that these photos were showed to the officers who were called to the penthouse? You know those ones that testified UNDER OATH that there were no visible marks or injuries to AH when they arrived and saw no evidence of property damage (trashed apartment as described by AH).

By the way, have you all seen those folks showing their faces post botox appointment? I found the reddening in those before after photos familiar . . .

Yes, especially the small bruise under one eye.....

I love how she keeps rubbing her left eye trying to create tears.
She should just Three Stooges herself in one at this point.

Any sign of cross examination yet?

As an experiment, I tossed my phone at the back of the sofa three times from across the room. It always landed with the edge of the phone hitting the back of the sofa. I just can't understand how JD managed to get the flat side of the phone slammed against her cheek?

After this testimony, I never want to see her face again. Where is the barf emoji?

Great minds, I've just been say here tapping my phone against my face in various positions (and not just as the equivalent of banging my head against the wall :p) and I reckon if it was hurled at me at any speed at all and actually connected,it would probably chip a bone . Speculation your honour ;)

First she said she didn’t tell LE was because her attny told her not to. Then asked later and said she didn’t want to get Depp in trouble.

How is she telling the guards not to let him in apt 5 if she is in apt 1?

'This is my face after Johnny threw a phone at it'

The court is shown a series of photos Amber Heard says were taken by her friend Rocky Pennington after she alleges Depp threw a phone at her on 21 May 2016. She says Ms Pennington took pictures "in different lighting" and that they did it "to protect me, because the cops were coming, and we weren't sure what was going to happen". She adds: "We didn't know what Johnny was going to do, so [Rocky] wanted to protect me".

Here are some of the images shown to the court, which we are told were also shown as evidence to Police Officer's Ms Saenz and Mr Hadden earlier in this trial.

The black box on the left side of some of the images is where time and place data has been redacted, at the request of Heard's lawyers.

as much as I dislike and disbelieve her story of IPV and SA, I think she just has an eyelash or pesky piece of hair in that left eye she keeps fussing with. JMO

'I wanted to protect Johnny'

The lawyer, who is asking questions on behalf of Johnny Depp's team, asks Amber Heard about the police attending an incident on 21 May 2016 in one of Johnny Depp's LA penthouses during which Heard alleges that Depp threw a phone at her. We have previously heard evidence from the LAPD officers who attended the scene that evening, and they said Heard would not talk to them about what had taken place, and did not want to make a report.

The lawyer asks: "Why didn't you co-operate with the police?"
Heard responds: "I wanted to protect Johnny, I didn't want him to be arrested... I didn't want this to come out".

We move onto a series of images which were taken by Heards' friend Rocky P that night, showing what looks like mess and damage in LA penthouses 3 and 5. Heard says: "Johnny would always destroy my things when he was angry at me."

Here are some of the images shown to the court (the black box on the left side of some of the images is where time and place data has been redacted, at the request of Heards' lawyers):
