IIRC Depp team has been trying to get the former answer into testimony for quite some time, because if she says it was on advice of her divorce attorney, then this means she has a divorce attorney on retainer, and was in fact in the process of working on divorcing him (and, by extent, how to keep marital assets) before the TRO.

The court is shown a series of photos Amber Heard says were taken by her friend Rocky Pennington after she alleges Depp threw a phone at her on 21 May 2016. She says Ms Pennington took pictures "in different lighting" and that they did it "to protect me, because the cops were coming, and we weren't sure what was going to happen". She adds: "We didn't know what Johnny was going to do, so [Rocky] wanted to protect me".

Here are some of the images shown to the court, which we are told were also shown as evidence to Police Officer's Ms Saenz and Mr Hadden earlier in this trial.

The black box on the left side of some of the images is where time and place data has been redacted, at the request of Heard's lawyers.

I commend you for your fence sitting. Objectivity is critical to justice.
I, unfortunately, fell off hard on the last day of Amber's testimony and the conflicting testimony and just haven't been able to get back on it. I have to admit to listening to the extended Australia audio tape too which pushed me further away from the middle. This is apparently not part of the trial, so I am compromised there.
There still is the opportunity to show proof of domestic violence and so lack of defamation but IMO it is rapidly waning. In any case, I think the testimony has at least shown breaking the divorce agreement.

Well “today” she said she called her entertainment lawyer first (only lawyer she said she had) who told her to call (I think it was) a DV lawyer…another ever changing story…

Appreciate your respectful opinion. This long ordeal of AH's pitiful defense examination, and her testimony, has become absurd to me. (imo) I may be sliding off the fence into JD territory.

courthouse TRO photo op. Her "bruising" is magically way worse in these than that little bit of splotchy redness from the "getting ready for cops to show up" ones.

Through some sort of osmosis, all the paparazzi found their way to the courthouse to photograph her as she left the courthouse.

Oh lord, please spare me hearing about AH's normal daily makeup routine.

I would really like to know more about her skin condition that requires she wear sunscreen every waking moment? What does her skin look like when she has been exposed to sun? Is it red and blotchy maybe? just curious
