From a legal standpoint how long is she allowed to be disrespectful to counsel? “Pledging/Donated” was spewed from her over over 5x very defiantly. She said something like “that’s not my interpretation“ regarding pledging. Her arrogance is astounding.

I just got back on here! Was able to watch the totally epic and delicious cross exam by CV. She was precise and to the point. Lies and more lies. Wowsa! I will have to re-watch AH's testimony prior to cross, but from what I have heard, it wasn't much that I missed. Missed you all! :D

I hope Camille somehow covers the photoshop angle on the photos that show her with no injuries. I can just hear her attorney ask AH if she knows whether or not the glamour photos have been photoshopped.

We all know there's no way the media would not have blasted those event photos if they showed bruising, swelling etc.. but I'm not sure the jury will think about that.

I'm so glad you were able to watch!! 'Thought of you when cross began!

I will surely be watching the entire cross again, (as I was adoringly interrupted a few times ). One comment I managed to see while watching the live stream said, " Nuclear Takedown of Heard".
It really was just as delicious as I imagined 10 days ago.

I also noticed that mr pr man was not in the court room.
Hmmm

AH was very disdainful, smug and cocky towards Ms Vasquez. Not a good look.
Probably a lost cause for her team to advise her to act a bit more deferential and respectful.

Reminds me of the attitude "Do you know who I am ?" statement by those who expect lesser beings to defer to them.

This lovely lady, CamilleVasquez, is an exceptional attorney. With a soft voice, she made her career today.

A lawyer who was inside the courtroom, reported on LegalBytes that when the day ended, people were walking up to CV and congratulating her on a job well done. He added that Ms CamilleVasquez was emotional and teary eyed. Imagine the world watching when she became a star today. Even the sun was shining on her in the courtroom.

For the first time since this mess began, I feel that Johnny will actually win his case against AmberHeard.

Yes, and AH also uses "fight" when she means "argument" and "Bruise" when she means "flushed," too.
and 'was' broken for 'felt' broken.

There was such an amazing contrast between these two women today. CV was calm, sincere, focused and direct.

AH was frazzled, insincere, vague and arrogant. It was a great contrast for the jury to see, IMO.

Good. I also want to know what kind of "abuse" JD sleeping/passed out was against her.
Exactly. I'm actually a bit surprised those photos were even allowed into evidence. They certainly aren't evidence of abuse. IMO their only purpose is to sully JD's reputation.

Let me state first of all that i think AH is a liar and I hope she loses. That said, I disagree with the above assessments of JDs attorney. I found her to be abrupt and rude and feel if she doesn't tone it down, it won't sit well with the jury.

I loved Camille's retort "So it is a picture of JD sleeping on a tropical island while on vacation".

"The court was shown a clip of Amber Heard appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden in December 2015 with no visible marks or bruises on her face."

"Heard had previously testified that the night before the appearance she thought she was going to die when Depp allegedly headbutted her and tried to suffocate her with a pillow. She claimed she had two black eyes, what she thought was a broken nose and a busted lip from Depp allegedly punching her."

Depp's lawyer grill Heard over pics looking fresh-faced after 'abuse'

Extraordinary, that this woman would heal so quickly before she took those so called bruised face pics, and overnight before her Late Show appearance, from such physical and emotional injuries and trauma.

Someone should write a paper on this miraculous and superhuman phenomenon.

Recently, he tried to get a female Post reporter to link up with him at his hotel on the empty promise of a meeting with Heard, amid her testimony about allegedly being sexually abused by Depp…
He then offered the reporter an exclusive sit-down with Heard — but told her to first meet him at his hotel, screenshots from their messages confirm.
After the reporter, who is in her early 30s, failed to agree to meet him there, the sit-down with Heard fell through.

Hmmmm…
Birds of a feather….

Checked out the meaning of 'nodding off' and 'nodding out'. AH felt she had to correct the prosecution. Can't remember which lingo she used though.

"Where does nodding off come from?

Fall asleep momentarily, doze, as in Grandma spends a lot of time in her rocking chair, nodding off now and then. This expression alludes to the quick involuntary dropping of one's head from an upright position when drowsy or napping. The verb nod alone was so used from the mid-1500s.

I could only watch the first 20 minutes of cross, but from what I saw I basically agree with you. I thought JD's attorney was overly dramatic and she came off supercilious to me. I think you can aggressively cross in a more likable way. JMO.
