at the beginning of one of his team's Monday clips in the evidence folder, JD can be heard in fact telling Amber, plainly and with no mockery or sarcasm in his tone:

"I am an alcoholic."

...in other words, I'm pretty sure he knows, and is somewhere on the continuum of managing his problems with addiction, which as I've always heard/been told, is "a process".

Yep, I know that he knows he has an alcohol problem and admits to it, I just meant I hope he realises the effect it has on his personality in a way which his other vices don't appear to if you see why I mean?.
I think perhaps he has never been around people as much whilst drunk as he was when he was with Amber,so possibly has never found himself in a situation where he behaved so out of character.

I do believe he has stated he has been cleaning sober for a good while now (possibly not including weed but I wouldn't count that personality) which is great!.

Are you kidding me with that witness list!? A police expert and a social media forensic expert!? Ellen Barkin? OMG! I hope the video depos are short!
Indeed! A circus tent complete with clowns. So nice to see you here @Weki. Please continue to post.

Agreed.

Imo, he started to look really tired etc when he started dating AH.

Edit - he has been dealing with this for several years now, it is truly affecting his life mentally and psychically.
Yes, JD has had a very sad life since quite young. Unfortunately I did not start viewing this trial until AH's second day on witness stand. Sometime I hope to review JD 's testmony. How can JD continue to survive that kind of life style. MOO.

Well the clowns better not hem and haw, sigh and stretch, stare at the ceiling etc like a last couple we saw. Heard's team only has 12 hours left.

Excellent question! How can any of this basically one-sided testimony not be challenged with cross-examination? The jury just accepts their word that the deposition witnesses are telling the truth and that it need not be questioned further?

ETA: IANAL :D
JD’s team can’t cross examine them?

It looks to me like AH had her hair coloured yesterday or last night. It is much blonder today than before. JMO
For a while, I did not recognize this was AH. She definitely had something done to her hair and even her clothes were not so harsh. MOO.

These images of a wine bottle on the ground with spilt wine nearby are meant to be from two different incidents:

As you can see, it's the exact same wine spill. Just from different angles. This is NOT POSSIBLE and therefore fraudulent testimony.

This is supposed to have been photo evidence of Johnny's May 21st PH 3 rampage:

...I think, maybe, in rebuttal?

Also, while I agree it's a terribly flawed system, it being a snapshot in time, it does shorten the length of the trial; and at the time of the deposition's being taken, the other side's attorneys were permitted to be present and to object.

That, IMO, is why and where we get some of the flagrant jump cuts and edits that we saw in Rocky, at minimum.

Maybe it's because the Irishman looked her way at some point.

Heck why leave the building unless she needed to. Her posse basically lived with her. Party favours galore.

In one recording she was begging him not to go to a movie party.

The problem is it takes only one juror to hang this case. As one legal commentator said last night, these trials are won or lost in jury selection. I think it's also possible that there could be a juror who finds AH sympathetic like that one juror in the Jodi Arias trial. Although I realize that issue has several layers including that the juror perhaps didn't like the prosecution due to her own prior legal issues etc. I don't want to argue over that but my point is that it takes one juror. This has to be unanimous for JD to win.
As to the bolded portion above---I think it depends upon how we define the term 'win.'

I don't think JD's goal was to 'win' 50 million dollars.

I think his real goal is to 'win' back his reputation with the public. So if 11 jurors side with him and one doesn't, I think that's still a win for him, overall.

...Hence the "flawed metadata" argument falls into place.

IMO, Brown Rudnick is not the least bit worried about any of this because they know they still have a rebuttal case ahead of them; and the more time they save now, the more time they have to put on rebuttal witnesses.

I understand the temptation to be worried for the sake of truth and general fairness.

In reality, Brown Rudnick is a multimillion-dollar international law firm; and what this team doesn't know firsthand, they have entire specialty divisions from whence to draw an attorney whose specialty it in fact is.

IMO they're not the least bit fussed.

I agree…but only 7 jurors on this panel.

Her acting coach said she saw her over 300 times. Even in one year, how is that possible?
I think she saw her from 2009 until about 2019? So over 10 yr period, it is possible. During filming, she probably went to the set w/her every day she worked. JMO

I would love to see AH's text messages to him or even the amount of times she tried calling him between the April 21st incident and when he returned to get some of his things in May. Were they trying to work things out during that period? Wonder why nothing has been said about that month apart?

I haven't been able to follow each day. Did Ben Chew question any of those on the stand? The experts maybe? I can't remember. Yes maybe he did...Dr. Curry et al?
I certainly understand the reason he could not question Amber at all during her testimony. Had to be a woman, and CV was brilliant.

Can we expect him to make the closing statement?

Heard became a 'hermit' during relationship with Depp, former acting coach says

Amber Heard's former acting coach Kristy Sexton is now telling the actress's lawyer Elaine Bredehoft that over the course of her relationship with Depp she became "more and more like a hermit" and would "only leave the house when she needed to".

She goes on to say Heard would lose weight when she was stressed and would "look skeletal at certain points in time".

"I remember right before their wedding she had lost a significant amount of weight, to the point that I was asking her if she was eating regularly," she says.

She recalls one period when Head was "skin and bones" and "much thinner than she normally was".
If I lived in a compound, and my husband, my sister, my three best friends, my spiritual life coach and my two Yorkies were all living there as well, would I really be a hermit if I stayed home most of the time?

Oh, I think it’s a dead cert Ben Chew gets the close.

I look forward to that....can't wait.
I've read somewhere that he's one of the best, stellar reputation as a prosecutor.
