Depp was 'very mean, called me names and fired me'

Amber Heard’s former attorney Michelle Mulroney is being questioned about emails she sent about a proposed pre-nuptial agreement between Heard and Johnny Depp. She says the confidentiality agreement which was sent along with the email was "standard" when either party needed to disclose their financial details.

Ms Mulroney says one day during negotiation over the proposed pre-nuptial agreement Depp called her on the phone. She says he was: "Very mean, called me names and fired me".

She says he was "slurring" and she believed him to be drunk.

She says one specific profanity she can remember from the call is that "he called me a b*****".

She goes on: "I was very rattled by the call, I was on the call for a very short time... I told him I had to hang up after a few minutes. It took me off guard. It really shook me up".

She says after that phone call she took no further actions on a pre-nuptial agreement between the former couple, and neither Depp nor Heard ever contacted her about it again.

She says there is no doubt in her mind it was Depp on the phone.
I'm sure it was him on the phone.

Here's my moo take on this:
AH "used" situation where he was already drunk. And then turned around and manipulated him and groomed him to bark at MM.

AH DID NOT want that prenup.

Yeah, from my understanding, they thought IO calling from New York wouldn't go through, so they had RP call anonymously also. It produced two separate police dispatches, but they probably thought it was just one because they were thinking IO's New York call wouldn't go through. I have heard RP's "anonymous" 911 call. She tried to sound really vague and just wanted cops to respond. If you look at IO's phone records, you see that she tried to call other friends to get them to be the 911 reporter. Wonder why she didn't just tell RP or JW or that Liz person to do it, right?
If someone you cared about is a victim of domestic abuse, then why would you be calling friends to make the 911.

If he had said "See You next Tuesday," then I'd believe it without question.

This is Count 3 of AH’s counter claim.
That an online smear campaign ruined her career.
Pretty hard to quantify how many jobs were lost due to bad social media posts. IMO, this witness is a stretch. And maybe some jobs were not offered due to prior not-so-fabulous work, as well as her disassociation from JD where he had friends and favors due from the industry. And I do believe that AH got the Aquaman job due to JD. Her performance in the JD movie The Rum Diary was very shallow. Just another pretty face.

From what I understand, IO did not think the 911 call would be routed right from New York, where IO was. So IO was trying to find a local friend to call, but I'm saying why not tell RP or JW to call? They are standing right there with AH. The answer, I think, is that they wanted the call to be anonymous for some reason, and indeed, an anonymous call got made at 8:27pm from someone claiming to be in the building.

'Depressing'

Disney production executive Tina Newman is asked if she read the Rolling Stones magazine interview Depp did in 2018, talking about the "injustice" of the abuse claims against him.

The article is discussed in a Disney email between herself and other executives. She says "I must have looked at it", and she also confirms she commented on the the article in the email at the time, writing "depressing".

She is now referred to an article which says Disney has ditched Depp from Pirates 6, and asked if anyone at Disney has ever said they were not considering Depp for Pirates 6, or any other movie, because of Heard's op-ed from 2016. She says no, she hasn't.

With that her deposition is finished.

I used to really like her. But if she's testifying for AH, I am changing my opinion. Domestic violence is a real issue. Men are just as vulnerable as women, though the statistics are grossly different. I believe that many men don't come forward for many cultural reasons.

Ellen Barkin sounds like she’s totally wasted.

If they admit to that, they will be sued. May have been talked about in meetings but they won't put anything like that in writing.

I remember Ellen Barkin in "The Big Easy". I liked her.

"He was drunk a lot of the time''

I'd like to ask her if she was stone cold sober at the time? TBH it doesn't even matter whether either of them were. MOO

So JD was 'always' drunk and high when he was with her, but Ellen Barkin decides to date him anyway?

I thought we'd heard this fairly recently:

Skip to 4:00 to hear Nurse Debbie testify that JD told her Amber "did not take well" to the suggestion that she needed to sign a prenup; and keep listening for a fuzzy-but-likely illustration where she testifies to being on "a" private plane ride with the couple, where JD was begging her to go away and leave him in peace at a table; and AH was pestering him and and refusing to.

First he threw the bottle, then she changed it to 'it was a toss.' And she never really said he threw it AT her---it was tossed in her direction.

Wonder how Ms. Barken's memory of over 30 years ago is relevant. I'd hate for someone to bring up some of my behavior 30 years ago with my first husband. Wasn't horrible, but not proud of it and never repeated.
