I wasn't able to keep up on the thread last week so just wondering why her presence is significant.

I don't really understand it either, but I'm thinking maybe it's just because he was a bit late to court and then walked in with another attractive lawyer after all the CV nonsense last week?

Freak accidents occur all the time. I just don't get how he can say it didn't happen this way with 100% certainty.

GRAPHIC IMAGES: Depp's severed finger

Orthopaedic surgeon Doctor Richard Moore is offering up his expert testimony on Johnny Depp's badly damaged finger, which occurred during an incident in Australia in March 2015.

The court is now shown two very graphic images of Depp's severed finger.

X-rays of Depp's finger

The court is also being shown X-rays of Johnny Depp's severed finger, which the expert witness, Doctor Richard Moore, says contain multiple bone fragments.

Here you can see the damage inside Depp's finger, and crushed bone in the finger tip.

Depp alleges the injury was caused by Amber Heard throwing a vodka bottle at him, however Heard says the injury was caused by Depp smashing a phone against the wall.

He can't, and I suspect CV will make that clear.

What would be the point of pushing this angle? It doesn't help her counter claim.

Also, is that Whitney Heard in the front row?
Yes, CourtTV said she is there. Amber probably wants her to help stare at Jennifer Howell in intimidating mien.

The injury does not tally with the cause

Hand surgeon Doctor Richard Moore tells the court he does not believe the cause of Depp's finger injury was "a bottle being thrown from above" and that a bottle thrown from above would not cause such an injury, which included "partial amputation".

Got the witness stuttering.

CV is good. Her questions are intelligent, direct, and the Dr imo is getting flustered.

Vasquez: Dr. Moore, there is no question pending

She is so quick! One of the best cross examiners that I have seen!

She just destroyed that witness.

She is fantastic and she has a question to counteract every statement.
Just genius.

I can't see the point of her going in so aggressive on this Doctor. She can prove her points without being so confrontational.

The DR is a paid expert. He wouldn't know how this injury happened, just an opinion. MOO

She just destroyed that witness.

I actually felt a bit sorry for him, then I remembered the thousands of dollars he was paid (I hope it wasn't just pledged) to be there.
