When AH's lawyer got up to cross, did you see the pile of yellow post-it notes that he grabbed? lol

Why does negotiating for a "Superhero movie" matter?

Why does it matter if Richard Marx negotiated for a "superhero" movie or not? That's so specialized.

  • #644
What exactly is the negotiating difference between super hero movies and other movies?

love Ben Chew's take-down of the ACLU, what a shameful fall from grace for that organization and its noble founding principles
I believe that the ACLU has lost much support. What a tragic turn for an organization that spotlighted worthy causes.

Ha! We had the same question at the same time. I don't see what difference it makes. Do negotiations happen differently?

She reminds me so much of Jodi Arias. They think they're the smartest person in the room lol.
Ohhh I agree.....She reminds me so much of Jodi. The way she tries to 'connect' with the jury in a kind of creepy way. The way she takes furious notes as if she is an attorney.

AH's lawyer is talking about AH in a "breakthrough" role as if her "breakthrough role" was the LEAD. She wasn't the lead. She was like Trevor to Wonder Woman.

Maybe it's because they are usually a franchise rather than stand alone?

I agree too. The way she thinks she can pull the wool over everyone's eyes with her lies is exactly like JA.

It doesn't imo. They're just trying to make it seem like he doesn't know what he's talking about. But someone else who might know why it matters maybe can chime in.

Maybe the money involved? Superhero movies generate lots of money not just with the movie, but with special edition cups and stuff at the theater, action figures, etc.

He has that experience, though. He talked in detail about it his first time on the stand.
