'I had a bit of a shiner': Depp discusses his honeymoon

Johnny Depp is now being asked about his and Amber Heard's honeymoon in August 2015, which the court has previously been told about.

Heard has accused Depp of being violent on the trip, which took place on the Orient Express from Thailand to Singapore.

Depp says there were times when it was "agreeable" but there were other times she would "start the rant".



"At one point... I don't remember it lasting long... I took a pretty good shot to the face, to the eye... so I had a bit of a shiner," he tells the court. "It all ended and then everything got fine again."

He says he does not recall if Heard apologised.

"Ms Heard hit me," he says, when asked about what looks like a visible injury in the picture above, which was shown in court.

Asked if this is a correct representation of what he looked like, he says: "It certainly looks like me with a black eye" and adds that the photo does not look like it has been photoshopped.

She looked really pleased with herself, did anyone see it?

Totally agree. It's so shocking to me and I wasn't there. This has caused a lot of trauma for JD.
