So the jury doesn't know that AH was actually arrested, if that's the case? o_O
They brought it up and asked Amber about it on cross to open the door to it. CV accused AH of abusing more mates than JD at that time. AH denied it.

Beverly Leonard was the arresting officer.
''When questioned by Ms Vasquez in court on Tuesday, Ms Heard denied comitting domestic violence against Ms van Ree or assaulting her. She alleged the story was “planted” after she obtained a temporary restraining order against Mr Depp in 2016.''

Here is an article.
Amber Heard cross-examined about her domestic violence arrest while dating Tasya Van Ree in 2009

I DO have "more than one charge of perjury" on my AH bingo card!

They definitely didn't mention an arrest in the cross. It was only "you committed domestic violence on another partner, didn't you?" "It was in Seattle, in an airport, and people saw you, didn't they?" "In fact it was covered in the media, wasn't it?"

haha haha team AH seems irritated that the judge expects jury instructions even if it means them staying late.

I mean if they didn't call a sidebar every 5 minutes

Did anyone happen to see when WH exited the front row of the gallery? lol I noticed she was not there when court was dismissed.

AH was asked about it by CV.

And, praytell, what did the little cherub give as a reply?;)

What more can Amber Heard say about these three measly statements AW made? I'm not convinced people paid attention to what AW said or that it's what made her lose jobs. I'm not convinced she even lost jobs.

She’s looking restless.
Did anyone see Johnny drive in? They had Bob Marley going. It was great!

On CBS the camera is still rolling on AH.

I do feel a little bad for AH's attorneys because I do think she lied to them, and it has to be hard to defend someone when you don't know the real truth.
Does anyone know if a civil trial is the same as a criminal trial wherein the 'defendant' is entitled to receive all of the 'disclosure' from the plaintiff? ie so AH and team would know ahead of time what evidence JD had? And if so, would that also be applicable the other way around, where the defendant would have to give their disclosure to the plaintiff?

what was that about....airport report from 2009?
Amber was arrested for assault on her girlfriend. she was in jail and released on bail. Charges were eventually dropped.

AH and her gf both told TMZ that the officer was homophobic ---

And that is why she was arrested. Later the officer was found by TMZ and turned out she was a very public Lesbian that marched in Pride parades and was outspoken against DV in lesbian community.

What questions did JD's team ask the arresting officer? I totally missed it with my internet going down and it wasn't even live when I tried tuning in on TV.

Okay, slight quibble: the photos that purportedly showed bruises were altered. There is no forensic trail to show how the photos were altered. But aside from me being overly pedantic, I definitely agree that the obvious conclusion is that the sizes would not have increased had no enhancements happened. IMO.
I don't think the expert witness is allowed to discuss the color changes.

I have to say that photo of them on honeymoon on the Oriental Express trip with the train stewards, etc is very insightful for me.

He clearly has a left black eye, he looks dapper, and a bit dazed, or stunned that this isn't going well

She looks miserable, and like she wants to fight some more. This isn't the radiant smile of a newly-wed in bliss. It's the sneer of a woman who isn't getting her way, for some reason.

They are on their honeymoon and the photo is taken for the benefit of the people that are taking care of them on the train. Couldn't she put on her "movie star" smile for them, at least?

She looks like a bitter pill, and their honeymoon has just started. I would not want to travel any farther with someone like that. It looks like the whole trip was probably unpleasant.
I remember being shocked by the photo back in the day when it first arrived. It’s so clearly damning to AH, precisely because he didn’t attempt to cover it up.
per Neumeister many of the photos Ms. heard submitted were altered in a photo editing app
Yes!! Camille promised it would come back in her opening statements.

To be fair, I think this only helps JD. The jurors can give a verdict without worrying about their privacy.
For some of them, Raquel. I remember some testimony that Heard had asked that RP email or upload some photos. I can't remember if they were the 12/15 or the 5/21 photos.
It was mentioned in Samantha McMillen UK declaration, I thought.
next witness is Ms. Beverly R. Leonard.

Testing volume levels.

Testifying from her home in AZ. She is familiar with AH. Met her in 2009 at the airport. BRL worked at airport. witnessed one female and another that appeared to be in a fight. She broke it up along with another employee. She described AH as aggressive towards her traveling companion. Grabbed her arm - pulled a necklace from her neck, seemed not steady on feet eyes blurry smelled alcohol.

AH companion raised her hands in a defensive manner but otherwise was pretty stoic and didn't speak much. She was a bit taller than AH and therefore didn't have to work hard to defend herself.

AH was dismissive when they intervened.

companion had an abrasion on side of neck similar to rope burn from the chain being removed forcibly from her neck.

She is involved here today because someone emailed her.

Team AH really really doesn't want the jury to hear this either. Seems to be the theme for the day.
I love this lady. She has integrity that has never wavered, and doesn’t care if she gets flak from LGBTQIA lobbyist types for not supporting/backing up AH.

So, no flight attendant testimony? That’s a little bit disappointing.

I'm behind because I'm watching on CTV, but this photo guy is amazing for JD's side IMO.

BBM .. I think they said she will be their last witness tomorrow morning

Help me out. I was looking at the Australia bar. How is it possible for AH to be leaning over that bar and for -- the same time -- JD to be holding her down with his left hand and bashing a wall phone with his right?

From what I see, glass lines that bar on two sides and the third side is open to the other room.

https://content.api.news/v3/images/bin/49af947741f0ef206c994b35d6e647cd

Seems like the only place a phone could be is under the clock, right?

I just do not see how he can hold AH down with a left hand and bash a phone with a right hand in this space. Where would the phone have to be?
