I pulled up her tweet to see if what she wrote constitutes "republishing." They say you have to have added your own content with the hope of getting a wider audience. Nothing says republished like "Today I published this op-ed..."

On March 31, 2021, Governor Ralph Northam signed Senate Bill 1261 (“S.B. 1261”), which significantly expands the scope of the Court of Appeals of Virginia. Under S.B. 1261, civil litigants will now have the right to appeal final judgments to the Court of Appeals of Virginia, beginning on January 1, 2022. This legislation will have a substantial impact on civil litigation practice in Virginia, the last state to allow an appeal as of right in civil cases.

Plus AH and RP were laughing the day after. What on earth would be funny after DV you filed a TRO for less than 24 hours before?

Its a very frightening thing to do because you don’t know what the repercussions are going to be. Many are murdered in this stage, so laughing is definitely not a normal emotion.

Thank you for your thoughtful post. I am also a DV survivor. Always behind closed doors. I told no one. I stayed 30 years until he almost split my scull entirely open with a piece of metal rebar and left me badly injured. I understand if anyone wants to call me stupid like many on the internet already have. It was complicated. I was also not a perfect victim in that in the later years of the abuse before I finally gave up a 4 decade relationship - I started fighting back. He became a drug addict towards the end that fueled his aggression, but I stood by him anyway and tried to help him into sobriety, I was called controlling. Maybe I was. I just wanted him to get better. But in the end, after I had to file a TRO and filed for divorce he accused me of the one abusing him. Told lies to the court (with no evidence) that I tried to run him over with my car, and that I beat him throughout our marriage. He tried to say he hit me out of self defense to get off on the assault and battery charges - which thankfully in the end he was not believed. But he dragged me through court for two long years lying till the very end. Nobody knows what happens behind closed doors. And I don’t know what happened here between Johnny and Amber. I see two toxic people and have no doubt there was physical violence on both sides, and to me - Johnny’s texts and vile words leave me somewhat in belief that he is not the gentle spoken man we know publicly. We know exactly who Amber is because she has shown us - combative, needy, aggressive, emotional and at times - a bully. I can not make a decision here. I don’t follow either of their careers and had no idea of these allegations before this trial. I’m just looking at two people and their testimony and feel that neither of them are telling the entire truth, and I also refuse to bash either. I agree that falsely accusing someone is wrong, but I have no idea here.
Thank you for sharing your experience. You are a thriver!!

But that applies to every case right?

State Court Jury Verdicts: Unanimity Not Always Required

In state courts, whether a jury needs to be unanimous depends on the state and the type of trial. For criminal trials, nearly every state requires the jury to produce a unanimous verdict.

For civil trials, almost one-third of states only require a majority for a verdict. Some states require a majority if the money at issue in the trial is below a certain amount, and a unanimous verdict all other times.

Right. I have no idea what was so funny. They thought they were laughing all the way to the bank? They just got 3 penthouses with full payments and maintenance? LOL

She has her laptop. Maybe they are celebrating all their photo 3.0 edits?

The body language expert said the thing about Amber is that she doesn’t believe anyone because she thinks she is smarter/superior.

Thanks, I had criminal in my mind.

They just said on HLN that in this case it doesn’t have to be a unanimous jury. But who knows, we have heard contradicting things.

I believe he expected to move on after the divorce. It was AH that came after him for $50 million and alleged SA and DV
he filed both law suits

Here is Amber on May 27, 2016 and then again the next day, May 28, 2016. She said she was outside on the 28th pic. Well, she was outside for the 27th one, too.

I started late and also missed these testimonies. Who is Alejandro and Isaac B ? TIA

Another funny thing was Elaine said Johnny’s “twitters” instead of Johnny’s ‘tweets’.

I wonder how Amber feels tonight. Does she grasp the magnitude of what she said today about the Op ed, about calling everybody a liar, about her contradictions, and her snarling demeanor on the stand?

Is EB going to attempt damage control in her closing? Will she state that everyone misheard the Op ed comment, or that AH is so devastated that she misspoke? How can she spin that?
Amber was called by her own team today, right?

Definitely. She has been upset with the jury because she can see they’re not buying her bs. She’s tried every which way and today she wanted to scold them a bit JMO. She tried to use “logic” and “common sense” to admonish them.
I thought CV was very aggressive with her- everyone else seems to think it was warranted, and a great tactic, but I am not sure it was not too confrontational, IMOO.

Elaine is not even objecting to break the momentum- she’s given up! She advised against this I’m sure! MOO
I thought she was strangely silent
