Harrisonburg police are searching for a missing man who was last seen May 10, according to a press release from the Harrisonburg Police Department.
Joseph Jonathan Haley, Jr., 34, was reported missing Friday, the release says. He is known to have mental illness and probably does not have his medications. Haley was last seen near Mason Street and East Gay Street in Harrisonburg.
The release describes Haley as a black male about 6 feet tall and weighing about 240 pounds. He was in Harrisonburg searching for housing and employment but has ties to Waynesboro, according to the release.
Anyone with information of Haley’s whereabouts or who has seen Haley should contact the Harrison Police Department's Major Crimes Unit by calling (540) 437-2640 or by contacting Crime Solvers at (540) 574-5050 or texting “HPD” plus their tip to CRIMES (274637).
