It definitely is a senseless murder. Hopefully LE is looking into why D.H. had threatened to kill Justin in the past.
With a carload of friends as back up; there's no excuse for bringing a gun regardless of what the gf told her friends on the phone.
Would it be possible she was cheating on Justin and looking for a way out of the relationship and instigated violence between Justin by drama with D.H.?

I don't know why, but I just get the feeling that Justin was murdered. Maybe not exactly targeted, but not in self-defense. IMO the gf and her friends then came up with a believable SD story to get out of trouble.

I think so too. I think the "friend" found it a good opportunity to do what he had threatened. Whatever happened between those two he was still angry.

But you have a man who is dead of a gunshot wound. The only people who are around to tell what happened are a girlfriend accusing him of harassing her and HER friends, one of whom brought the gun that killed him. Do you honestly believe THEY are going to tell the truth if the death wasn't self defense or an accident? Especially if it means one of these friends goes to jail.

But you have a man who is dead of a gunshot wound. I agree. They have every reason to lie. They could be telling the truth but IMO, if the shooter was in the car and then got out with the gun, it doesn't sound like self defense to me. They are the only ones with a reason to lie. Justin can't lie.

It is a shame this case isn't getting much attention especially when it sounds like there are several people who know something happened that night.

I could enlighten everyone on how the TRUE Justin was because I am an acquaintance of them both but I am going to take the high road and let all of you do the bashing.

I don't recall posts "bashing" Justin but I will look again. Lately I have seen a lot of threads on WS get bogged down and convoluted by locals "in the know". If you have facts to post that would be so awesome, and if you have links to articles, reports, or documents supporting those facts I will take it as more than just hearsay. So I encourage any and all locals and friends to post FACTS about what went on so that Justin can have peace and any wrongfully accused can be left alone to live the rest of their lives.

To come on here and say "I know what happened, but I'm not going to tell you" is nothing more than playing a games. It is not the purpose of WS and it kills me to see it happening. If a post is not helpful or supportive, than whats the point in posting it?

I didn't see much bashing here like I've seen in other threads. I think there is a bunch of confusion on this one because 1: it sounds like his family doesn't live near there so they don't know much and are not getting much information. 2: there doesn't seem to be much information out there in the public. So if there are people out there that can help set up some FACTS maybe this can be relayed to his family so they can get some closure. I believe the person who started the thread is a friend of the family and she's trying to help them because no one is telling them much.

I don't know how to double quote in a post from two different people yet so I'll improvise.

I couldn't agree more. I've seen this in a few threads recently and it makes it hard to follow. Welcome to WS Luvl8829 I think you'll find it is a great site and not a ton of bashing that goes on here. It really isn't tolerated like other boards. I've been a lurker since the Caylee Anthony case and am amazed at the good work the people on here do to help sort things out.

What was meant by my comment is that Justin is made to be this saint whereas the girlfriend is made out to be a liar, drama queen, etc. Believe me when I say this I am sure Justin looked really cute sitting in the 2nd and 4th grade (which was posted prior) and I am sure every child does at that age but there was a different side to him that only the people that truly loved him witnessed. I didn't post anything saying, "I know what happened, but I'm not going to tell". I am not going to interfere with an on-going investigation; I will leave that up to Law Enforcement since that is their job. People on this thread are making up theories in their head for what they think happened that night. How can anyone come up with these conclusions’ when no facts have been brought to the table? There are many of us here who only want to help. If you have some insight, perhaps you could share that with us. We can only work with what is given. I am sorry if you feel there has been bashing and negativity. Oh, and a very warm welcome to you.

I am the ex-wife and mother of Justin's child. I do have some information that could shed some light on this case. First of all to luv8829: I did love Justin for much longer than the gf and had his child so who do you think knew him better? Justin and I did not have very much money and three kids in the home, so needless to say we were under tremendous stress. JUSTIN NEVER EVER BEAT ME!! Now, here are some more facts, Justin and the gf lived together and had much more money than he and I ever did and had his daughter there every other weekend so why would this abusive side rear it's ugly head in a much less stressful situation? I have personally talked to the gf who gave at least three different stories of what happened that night. We have information that the police do not have but will soon. The core facts of this case are that the shooter came to a confrontational situation with a loaded gun and another guy to help him. Two men could have overpowered Justin easily. The gf was by her own words, in the car with the door closed saying "Go" when the shooter stepped out and shot Justin. Justin is dead because this man brought a gun to his home and shot him in his front yard, those are FACTS. What more do you need to know? Sounds pretty open and shut to me! None of the family is bashing anyone. We only want to know the truth. I want to be able to look my daughter in the eyes and tell her what happened to her father and let her know that we did everything in our power to bring justice to this situation.

I don't understand how we are interfering with an investigation when we are only posting on the internet. If LE is basing their investigation solely on what is being said here than there is no hope. You said yourself we are making up THEORIES. That is all they are. No one has come to a conclusion.
WS is a place to discuss cases, that is what we are doing. Did you seriously sign up only to dispute everything we say? Everyone has a right to their own opinion, this includes you, myself, and anyone else who wants to post. I respect your right, so please respect mine. If you came here looking for a fight you will not find one, I'm sorry if this disappoints you.
