I am the ex-wife and mother of Justin's child. I do have some information that could shed some light on this case. First of all to luv8829: I did love Justin for much longer than the gf and had his child so who do you think knew him better? Justin and I did not have very much money and three kids in the home, so needless to say we were under tremendous stress. JUSTIN NEVER EVER BEAT ME!! Now, here are some more facts, Justin and the gf lived together and had much more money than he and I ever did and had his daughter there every other weekend so why would this abusive side rear it's ugly head in a much less stressful situation? I have personally talked to the gf who gave at least three different stories of what happened that night. We have information that the police do not have but will soon. The core facts of this case are that the shooter came to a confrontational situation with a loaded gun and another guy to help him. Two men could have overpowered Justin easily. The gf was by her own words, in the car with the door closed saying "Go" when the shooter stepped out and shot Justin. Justin is dead because this man brought a gun to his home and shot him in his front yard, those are FACTS. What more do you need to know? Sounds pretty open and shut to me! None of the family is bashing anyone. We only want to know the truth. I want to be able to look my daughter in the eyes and tell her what happened to her father and let her know that we did everything in our power to bring justice to this situation.

Was the gun recovered and has ownership been established by le?

From what we have been told, yes they have the gun and yes it belonged to the shooter. We do not know if he had a concealed weapon permit. We also do not know if everyone at the scene had their blood alcohol content tested. We will be getting that information shortly though.

Julie79, first I'm so sorry for you and your daughter's loss. I can't imagine how difficult this has been for you and the rest of Justin's family.

I have a little more faith in the Portsmouth Police Dept. since the Meghan Landowski case and hopefully they're putting just as much effort into finding out what happened that night.

Yes, thank God they were able to figure that one out. I worked with Meaghan's mother, so that case has meant a lot to me also. We have been assured by LE that the case is not closed and they have more to do but it is very hard to be patient when you are so close the situation and it seems so cut and dry.

Yes, they were co-workers. The friendship between Justin and the shooter was not as close as the friendship between the gf and the shooter's wife.

Justin and the shooter were very close friends. The gf never ever hung out with them unless Justin was there. The friendship was even across the board meaning that the gf and the wife were no closer than Justin and the shooter. All plans to hang out together were made between Justin and the shooter.

And I didn't bash anyone. I just said that I am suspicious about the circumstances of how Justin got shot.

Thank you very much. I feel like I need to open up my life with Justin because here she is saying all these things about him that are not true and anybody reading these things that does not know Justin might believe her. In the future my daughter will be able to read the stories about Justin and I want to make sure KY's false statements are not the only thing available for her to make an opinion on what kind of man her father was. I have so much I could say about KY but to give you an idea of what kind of person she is, she was jealous of the time Justin spent with his own daughter who is 5 years old. Why he stayed with her is beyond me but he told everybody it was only because she made good money. I just hope LE investigates her "mental state" because we've come across quite a few people who said she was just completely crazy.

Apparently, "these friends" were not Justin's friends. One of them killed him.

If you know them so well; why don't you tell us what went on that night? It's obvious you are privy to that information.
I hope your idiot friends' (and yourself if you are one of them) all rot in jail as a murder has been committed.

I didn't say Justin was being "bashed". What was meant by my comment is that Justin is made to be this saint whereas the girlfriend is made out to be a liar, drama queen, etc. Believe me when I say this I am sure Justin looked really cute sitting in the 2nd and 4th grade (which was posted prior) and I am sure every child does at that age but there was a different side to him that only the people that truly loved him witnessed. I didn't post anything saying, "I know what happened, but I'm not going to tell". I am not going to interfere with an on-going investigation; I will leave that up to Law Enforcement since that is their job. People on this thread are making up theories in their head for what they think happened that night. How can anyone come up with these conclusions’ when no facts have been brought to the table? Your right what is the point of posting lies and half truths which is exactly what is being done by other people on here in prior messages? I personally don't think that is helpful nor supportive. You can think I am playing games all you want but I refuse to let innocent people be portrayed on WS as anything other than that.
