Details of Disappearance
Dunn was last seen at the Hampton Inn in Crystal City, Virginia on August 6, 2020. Her family last heard from her eleven days later, on August 17. She had come to Arlington, Virginia for a job interview at an unknown location. She has never been heard from again. She had recently moved to Virginia from Gregory, Arkansas prior to her disappearance, and frequented businesses in the Rosslyn and Crystal City areas.

Dunn has been reported missing before; she vanished from Woodruff County, Arkansas in May 2020 after emptying her bank account and taking all her belongings except her phone, but was found safe several days later. She is originally from Mississippi and may drive a 2012 Nissan Ultima with the Mississippi license plate number YLA 2481. Few details are available in her case.

A Google search reveals a story that she has been found, but that is in relation to her May 2020 case and not this one.

She moved to Virginia from Gregory AR, but drives a Nissan with Mississippi plates. I'm guessing she wasn't in AR very long. Gregory AR is about an hour and a half from Memphis TN and northwestern MS. The POC is Arlington County PD, but they don't have missing persons page or department. She is, however, listed on the VA State Police missing person page.

I came across her MP case recently, but I can’t remember where. I don’t think it was a news article; it was most likely in NamUs.
It stood out because she went missing prior from Arkansas or had just moved from Arkansas...

Karen's NamUs profile has been removed. I didn't find an update or any type of explanation regarding the resolution of her case. I hope all is well.

Its strange that the NamUs profile has been removed. Her Charley Project file is still there and doesn't have a "Resolved" label added.

But her case is no longer listed by the Virginia St. Police on their site. What is also strange is that Karen Jean Dunn was reported missing in Arkansas earlier in 2020, but was found within a day or two. Doing a Google Search shows the stories of when she was located then. (I wonder if someone saw those stories and didn't read the date of the news article and realize that they might have mixed up that earlier case with this one.) I can't find anything in the media or on the Facebook page where there has been a resolution. But then there never was much, if anything, on her disappearance in the local TV or newspaper media on her case to begin with. I hope this is good news and not an error when she actually could still be missing.
