Not sure if this posted or not.

''She loved the challenge," said Williams. "I mean, there's not a lot of girl welders. She just loved being part of a team."
Catalano has been missing for almost a week but friends and family will not give up the search.
"I get these feelings with something really bad," her sister said. "I get pressure in my chest and I don't have that. I haven't had it since day one. I truly believe she is alive out there."

Well in that case you should be here with my husband, he is on a new snoring campaign to keep me out of the bedroom and it's working....I have taken to the spare bedroom, ear plugs, sleeping aids and I am open to any other suggestions....

Patty nothing has been said about her computer, really very little has been said at all.

Shutterfly, I've heard (not positive here) that Kelly was seen running toward the path that leads to the river, which is away from the deadend road that leads to the front parking lot. The view from the office lobby is wide open to vehicles that pull in there. I feel like I am being watched every time I have the occassion to pickp my family member for some reason. Just FYI I used to work at Fiorucci's also and it is still there. Everyone keep the prayers coming and dont lose it Kelly,I think you are doing a wonderful job under the harsh conditions which you find yourself. Her normal break time is 9AM to 9:15AM so being out of the plant at 10-10:30AM was unusual.

That is the normal break time but Kelly was going into work early and had been working overtime so when she does this she doesnt strictly stay with the same break time. I do know that the day before she went to lunch @ 11 and not at normal lunch time. So there is some wiggle room with breaks and lunch. So its not as unusual as you think because she has changed breaktime before when she was almost finished with a job and wanted to finish it before break and start off new after break

AN......thank God, you're here!! We were starting to worry about you and Jamie. Do you know anything solid about this "new twist" or the possibility that LE "isn't considering foul play." I don't necessarily even mean specifics, but can you tell us if there is ANY good news?!?!

Catalano, 40, went missing Friday from her workplace at Blue Print Automation Inc., right off Ruffin Mill Road in Colonial Heights. According to police, she was last seen about 10 a.m. when she told fellow employees that she was going for a walk along the Appomattox River, which flows along the east side of the factory.

But according to some co-workers, Catalano did not disappear on one of her breaks. "Her first break that morning was from 9 to 9:15 a.m., and I was in the break room with her," said a co-worker who did not want to be named.

According to the man, Catalano's next break was coming up at 11:30 a.m., and she had planned to meet with two other co-workers to take a walk by the river.

Sometime around 10 a.m., Catalano suddenly left her work station to go outside, the co-worker said.

She never returned.

"Kelly just took off, with her machine running," the man said. Company staff immediately reported her missing.

There is a police officer is insisting this is a suicide but with suicide you usually find a body!!! So I dont know what they are announcing tonight but if its suicide then I can tell you that officer is wrong..This officer has had nothing to do with the search but he approached Jeff and told him that is what he believes. Jeff had never seen or spoke to this officer before today.

My last conversation was Tuesday with Kelly. She was in a great mood! Talking about 13 mile walk thing that she wanted to take part in and about my son (her great nephew) coming down this summer and staying with her so she could show him her work because he is a welder also. She has been in the best mood that she had been in the years. Those who know her would never say suicide and the guys she works with say she was in a good mood Friday morning.
I received a text from her early Thursday morning where she is making fun of something I said to her on Facebook the night before. She said she loved me and couldnt wait to see me at the end of Feb.

So be careful what you hear from the media because it has been twisted a few times...like time card wasnt punched (family knew nothing about till the media said it) The Police are working very hard and so are the people who work at BluePrint...what a great employer and employees they have there..no wonder Kelly didnt want to move back to PA!!!

Well she was on her myspace today. Thinking positively maybe (new twist) there was a new person in her life, he showed up at work and she left head over heels in love with him, that would be news worth waiting for!! I am praying it is something like that.

That was not Kelly that signed on to her MYSPACE..Kelly hadnt been on MYSPACE since 8/28/09. She decided she didnt like it anymore and preferred Facebook to talk to family and friends.

Well just with the little we have learned about your aunt I would rule out suicide. Most people that are looking to their lives are not concerned about taking walks, runs or their overall health. It sounds like she has a very fulfilling life that she enjoys, friends, family and a job she loves.
I am concerned with her thinking someone was in her house, she is a girl who has it together and it sounds like she was trying to make her fears known. I really think this needs more looked into. Maybe checking hardware stores in the area that made fresh keys recently. Checking with neighbors if any strange cars have been in the area the last few weeks. I do think if she thought someone was there, then they were.

Suicide? Okay sure, anything is possible. In this instance? My gut says no way. Just like AN says....where is she then? She didn't go far on foot....so if she commited suicide she'd still be there. So she spontaneously decided to commit suicide between breaks and amidst plans to go for a walk on her NEXT break?

I am watching the local 10 o'clock news now. I will update any new info. Right now they are talking about the Appomattox murders.

I was looking at the satellite photos of Kelly's workplace that was posted. I don't know how long ago those photos were taken.

But I did notice in the photo at Kelly's workplace that there were construction going on where they were making a new addition to the building.

Are there currently any construction going on at Kelly's workplace?

Are there any construction going on in any buildings or lands in the industrial park area?

Sorry time for me to go to bed. I haven't heard anything yet! Maybe something on the 11 o'clock news. G'night all!

I don't know what kind of job she had, but as for me, I'm a lead supervisor in a warehouse on 2nd shift and I have the freedom to leave my area if I get too stressed or go take a smoke break (which I have quit smoking). Whenever I leave my area I always make sure my keys are cellphones are with me. Because of my job, hearing that she took those things doesn't seem odd to me. I truly hope she is ok. There are too many terrible things happening!!!

Another thought has occurred to me.

Are there any buildings in the industrial park that are vacant?

This would be due to the current economic slump that real estate companies currently are facing in industrial parks.

Thus far, I'm aware via other posters that the building immediately opposite Blueprint is Linens of the Week, which is not only occupied, but reportedly has several very large bay doors open throughout the day. The next building back up Touchstone (1750), I imagine it too is occupied because according to the watchdog site, there is a RSO employed there. His charge? Rape.

Oh no! Has he been questioned and accounted for?

It sounds like there's a good deal of activity in this area. Wouldn't someone have seen or heard something if someone tried to abduct Kelly?

Hi all, I've been following Kelly's thread but haven't posted until now. Like all of you, my heart goes out to Kelly's family and friends, and I'm sincerely hoping she is found alive and unharmed.

So from the information provided by Curious, if true, at around 10:15am, about an hour after her first break, Kelly suddenly took off running out the doors of the building and down to the river, even leaving her machine running. 'Leaving the machine running' indicates to me that prior to suddenly taking off, she was at her machine working as she normally does, and no one has reported that she was exhibiting any bizarre or unusual behaviors immediately prior.

If this is indeed the case, it seems to reason that right before taking off, Kelly received some sort of information from somebody/something that provoked her into quickly leaving her work station and rushing down to the river. The only three ways this information could have been conveyed, IMO, is through either a cell phone call/text message, verbally through face-to-face contact with someone (a co-worker or boss) or that she suddenly remembered/thought of something urgent.

Can any of these be eliminated? I believe I remember reading her cell phone records were checked by LE, and that nothing of consequence was found; this may or may not be true - however it stands to reason that if a phone call or text was received or made around the 10:15am the person with whom she was communicating could easily be determined. As far as face-to-face contact with someone, did Kelly work in an area where she was surrounded by or in view of others? If someone were talking to Kelly immediately prior to her taking off, would her co-workers be in a position to notice, i.e., nearby? Or did she work in an isolated spot where someone could have come up and talked to her or said something to her and her co-workers may not have necessarily noticed? The third option, that she suddenly remembered or thought of something that made her feel that she needed to run down to the river, is the most unlikely IMO, yet it may be the case if the first two can be definitively eliminated. Regardless, however, does anyone have any ideas on what could have possibly made her take off like that? I'm still coming up with theories as far as that goes.
