Yep, my next question, naturally, is "How would Kelly get here?"
Any "object" in the river would first have to travel north, then turn south to get to this location. Is that even possible? I don't know much about rivers, obviously.

Nope, for me, if I'm applying any significance at all to the psychic's predictions I'm sticking with the lot with the red trucks.

Oh, and BTW, may I be the first at this site to officially declare myself "odd." Always have been, always will be.

I know not to swim in that spot, what kind of fish I'd catch, where not to cast the line from, and that the water is cold as a wa~hoo, I don't care what the season. I can't even seem to determine which way the current runs there......the location is just similar to the description given by the psychic so I slapped it up there. That's all.

Well, it looks like you know a lot more about rivers than me! I'm impressed. I've been overlooking the Hudson for years, and all I know is there's water in there, it sometimes freezes in winter, and there's land on each side of it. That's pretty much all of my river knowledge.

I'm not certain the psychic is worth her salt at all; after all she said Kelly would be found Wednesday (yesterday) and has now changed her tune to between yesterday and NEXT Wednesday. Hmmm ...

I am open to all possibilities in Kelly's disappearance. With the things that are known, it just seems unlikely to me that someone else had a hand in her disappearance. Police have said repeatedly that they do not have any indications of foul play. I just can't wrap my head around someone luring her down to the river. The timing of her disappearance and the facts surrounding it are just beyond coincidental.

And PS, not that I want to open up another can of worms, but that same psychic said that I was stalking Kelly and she couldn't have been more wrong about that.

I spoke to the police sergeant yesterday, he said they would be conducting a search today with a "special dog" (meaning a cadaver dog).

If there are no new leads, no new twists or turns to report, Kelly's story sits on the shelf and gathers dust. They can't keep saying the same things over and over...

Didn't the 'drop off' point in coverage seem to coincide with the announcement that suicide couldn't be ruled out, or however it was that LE stated it, or was it my imagination? It just seemed to me that after that point the only thing we've heard are those close to Kelly, saying that Kelly wouldn't likely commit suicide/throw herself in the river.

Yes, the January date was an anniversary that we celebrated throughout our relationship. As far as I know, Kelly had not make a single effort to contact me since August. Specifically, no calls, texts, emails, smoke signals, letters...etc. She also cut ties with my mom on the same day, via e-mail.

And we're all waiting for it right along with you. It's difficult for us being strangers, and I can only imagine what that wait must be like for you. It's hard to get used to this when you're used to watching scripted television, I know. I watch everything crime related that has a series of letters in the title. That's how I got hooked and what brought me here.

Well speaking of hour long episodes with resolution....and of course then there's Dexter....which goes on FOREVER.

I pray like crazy for Kelly and I know that a lot of people here, from all over, are doing the same thing. I'd advise you to stick around after Kelly comes home. Many, many posters around here have been through traumatic experiences in their lives and some have lost loved ones. I hear that this becomes an excellent support system for them. However the last five minutes plays out, it's going to significantly impact your life for a long time and many people here understand that. I'm sensing some of that pride you mentioned in Kelly in you as well CiV...be strong, for Kelly. If you never thought she needed you, she needs you now more than ever.

well said shutterfly. Case in point.. when I was in sixth grade my classmate and friend, Tina Marie Harmon, was abducted, raped, murdered and dumped in a field. I lived in a small town with not even a stop light... This happened in the early 80s. It still affects me today... as it does most of us who were friends with her.... and websleuths certainly does seem to help bring it all full circle a bit if it is only hanging up missing person fliers.

The day after her disappearance, a reporter from WTVR called asking for an interview. I politely declined since I had no knowledge of Kelly's habits in the days prior to her disappearance. In the ensuing conversation, he said that if it was thought to be suicide, they wouldn't cover it. Don't know why that's their policy, but it was from the "horse's mouth." Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened....coincidence? I think not. According to newspaper reports last week, LE said that even though there was no sign of foul play, they thought it could be a suicide, but were not ruling anything out....apparently, the media assumes just the hint of a possiblity is enough to justify their silence.

Like-what one thing will she eat until it runs out of her ears?
Like-what is her favorite thing to say?
Like-what's her favorite flower?
Like-what's her favorite season of the year?
Like-what's her favorite beer?
Like-what's her favorite band?

Please tell us about this pretty woman in the pictures. All of a sudden I don't want to just focus on what's happened and for that to be all it's about, you know? She is a whole person, not just a missing person. Perhaps it's being surrounded by all of these posters who really KNOW Kelly. I want to know her too!!!
