Boyfriend arrested in connection with Appomattox woman's murder

Williams’ arrest is the second arrest in connection with Henderson’s death, as Felix J. Jefferson, 21, was arrested previously, on April 10, and charged with two counts of accessory after the fact of a homicide.

Family, friends of Lisa Henderson find some relief after arrest of alleged killer

"It burned me up inside knowing that this dude is still out in the streets and doing what ever he's doing, so I can sleep a lot better at night knowing that he's where he needs to be," Lisa Henderson's brother, Buster Henderson, said.

"We need to get some more convictions," Sandra Henderson said. "Still think it's a couple of more people, maybe one, or at least two. I know it's one. They might need to try to get two."

"I think it's one more, and hopefully, they'll get that one too," Harvey said.

Trial Date set for accused killer of Appomattox woman

Marquie Brandon Williams, 26, is scheduled to face trial May 1-3, 2019, for the alleged killing of 22-year-old Lisa Simone Henderson.

Felix Jerome Jefferson, 22, also of Lynchburg, was indicted Monday on upgraded charges. His trial date has not yet been scheduled.

Second man now facing murder charge in Appomattox Co. woman's death

Felix Jefferson was initially charged with accessory after the fact in the homicide of of Lisa Henderson.
Now, the Campbell County Commonwealth's Attorney says he is also charged with murder after his testimony at the preliminary hearing in August.
