Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a teen missing from the Abraxas House on North Coalter Street since late February, a press release stated.

Staunton police said 17-year-old Lorenzo “L.A.” Boone of Norfolk was last seen Feb. 26 at the halfway house. He is described as black, about 5 feet, seven inches tall and weighing 145 pounds.

Why was he at a half-way house? 17 year olds dont live at half-way houses?

According to the article this particular half way house is for "troubled" teens. Ones that have spent time in the juvenile justice system.

I live across the river from Norfolk and this is the first I've heard of this young man being missing.

One of the comments under the article said he was one of the teens that was well behaved and would have probably done well, but he just walked away. I hope that's the case and there isn't any foul play involved.
