Was the door of the carport at the Short's home opened ? If it was then that might be how the killer got in and killed Michael and Mary and snatched Jennifer

That is possible. I feel the killer planned the crime well. I believe he cut the phone lines of the house as well.

I believed the Killer cut the phone lines first before killing the parents ,
maybe he done it on instruction from his client .

I respect others who wished to think other theories through on this case like when you think it that sadist fool but almost clever could have done the murders and believed he is lucky to get away with.

Yes. The phone lines were cut. It was reported the "garage door was open" when the sherriff arrived. That is one of the questions we have in to LE to be answered.

We had to google the deifintion of a sadist. It says some one who derives pleasure, especially sexual, from inflicting humiliation or pain on others. While we dont know exactly what happened to Jennifer, it doesnt seem that Michael and Mary were victims of a sadist. It's typical of a sadist to torture or draw out the act of killing their victims.
The parents murders seem "professional", whether a hired one or one by trade, or it was made to look tat way.

Of course we all have theories and thanks for the posr. To me the killer wanted to kidnap Jennifer then God knows what the sadist did to her. He took the parents out like a hit and that is what it might look like. To me their murders were a means to an end although he would have enjoyed the planning. Cheers

Guys , some news to tell you , the former home to the Short's Family has been destroyed by the fire but I don't know what caused it but they did said they will investigate what caused it to go in flame soon . It sad to see it gone

Yes , seeing it gets destroyed may sadden the people who knew The Shorts
we just need to hear the report from the Fire Investigation on what caused it go up in flame

It is a shame from the forensics point of view as from an amateurs eye there does not appear to be too much forensic evidence in the case but of course others can correct me. One detective said the killer was either very good or very lucky. I always think a combination of both. Of course I think I know who did it and that is Ralph Leon Jackson.

Others say it was Duncan as well , but with respect to you but what is both of them has nothing to do with the murders of The Short's ? Luckily Ralph got arrested and Duncan too but I got a feeling they might not know this murders or was it to protect their secret or just told the truth .

Thanks for the interest. I am not sure who Duncan is. As I say Jackson is my suspect and although I take an interest in others crimes the Jackson case or as I used to incorrectly think of it the EAR/ONS case is my case as such and the one I think I know about. It is my belief Jackson was the most prolific Serial Killer in US history with the most high profile crimes. This may sound far fetched but it is not really when like me to think you understand who he really was. It may be someone else but when I saw the composite sketch I thought it was him straight away. I also believe he killed whole family units and multiple victims at crime scenes. As I say others are entitled to their theories and opinions but these are mine.
