Is just the final one or there more on way ?

Not sure good series and good to see the bikers keeping her memory going. Not sure is it is the last video because I am a little way away in old blighty. Cheers.

Here is another episode of the series of Fox News reports though and of course it would be an FBI case because it involved the murder and abduction of a child:

It seems like the podcast is simply a reorganization so to speak of the youtube videos, made to make more sense for a podcast.
Also if you look at that youtube channel the "episodes" don't really make sense?? There was an episode 6 a week ago, why was another episode 6 posted today? Seems pretty disorganized and confusing so try to follow along in order. I'm hoping once all the podcast episodes come out it'll be easier to follow

They better sort this mistake out , it definitely looks confusing the viewers as headscratchers .

The podcast is out and I'm very hopeful that this will bring some new eyes, theories, and leads to this case. The first episode was only 9 minutes long, I hope future episodes are longer and go more in depth.
TV station in North Carolina launches podcast about Jennifer Short case
Who Killed Jennifer Short?

Just throwing in my two cents, I've said it before but I think this case is very similar to Jayme Closs. I believe that Jennifer was the target and her parents were murdered in order to make it easier to take Jennifer. All the same points I made with the Jayme Closs case before she was found when we were talking about motive apply here as well. I just cannot figure out any reason why you would risk taking Jennifer unless she was the reason for all of this. Why not murder all 3 of them at the house? Why would you risk driving with her in the car? Risk having her scream and alert neighbors as you take her from the house? Or getting caught with her at any point? In your car or your house or wherever.
Just to make LE think this was sexually motivated even though it wasn't?? Nah I'm not buying that.
I think if this was drug related and Michael had messed with the wrong people, wouldn't they have left him alive? Killed his wife and his daughter and made him live with that horror? I could maaaaybe believe this if they were tortured before being killed but the locations of their bodies make me think they might not have even seen the killer, shot dead while still asleep.

Here is one of the Podcast episodes about the case:

For the one responsible for February fire I still believed it just some loophole Arsonist setting fires house in Henry County at the times but the evidences of the murders in that house is long gone .
But that person who set the fires is not the same person did to The Short's .
Just my point of views

I think you are right about the arson attack that is my feeling too. I might be wrong and hope so for the victims relatives although I do not think there is ever really happy endings in these cases but I do think the case will ever have s definite conclusion as such unless there is forensic evidence such as DNA or fingerprints. Of course in my mind I am certain who committed the crime based on research, the nature of the crime and location but that is not forensic evidence. Thanks

JaeJae the thing I meant like after the crime scene finished somebody else bought it so years and years there won't be anything good untouched evidence left in that house will give strong link to this murder

Ok I see cheers. I know we have differing theories as I believe Jennifer was the target of a Serial Killer and he would have been unlikely to go back to the home and set fire to it. Also I think my suspect has likely departed this world he had some much contempt for some time ago so it could not be him.

Just curious, do you have a specific SK in mind? Someone that is known to be a serial killer or someone that went undetected?
I too believe Jennifer was the target, similar to Jamie Closs, but I'm just not sure who did it. I also believe the killer is no longer alive.

Thanks for the post. Not being funny but I do not think it is a secret who my suspect is and he came from Virginia. He was nothing but poison and trouble that destroyed lives when he was alive and he is still is today likely in death. Trouble for everyone including myself so at the moment I am not going to name him again.

Oh no, I wasn't expecting a name per say just some sort of idea if there was a specific person you had in mind which I see there is. I've personally always bought into the idea it was GB, but he's from NC so not your same guy.
It's been a while since I've re-read this thread, some "light" reading for this evening looks to be in order

ETA: it's always surprised me that there's only one thread on these murders- 27 pages, 541 posts. I guess it's because we really don't have any clues or open ended facts about the case to discuss but still seems a little odd.
