For people from the area or who have followed the Short case since the beginning:

-What TV news outlets do you remember being most involved in the coverage of the case?

-Any idea where someone could find archival footage of the national broadcasts about the case, such as the episode of Connie Chung Tonight (which aired in August 2002) and of America's Most Wanted (from January 2011)?

WFMY Channel 2 of Greensboro and the Greensboro News & Record had a lot of the initial coverage

It's approaching 23 years in a couple of days since these murders happened. I don't see any news about the Jennifer Short Memorial Ride this year. I believe the man who coordinated it since the beginning retired a couple of years ago. Maybe someone else will take over so this family is not forgotten.

This is one of the cases that still haunts me and that I would most like to see solved. This family was wiped out brutally and I hate to think that whoever did it may get away with it.

Thanks for the post. It sounds like the Sheriff is working it and by commenting about seeking DNA testing there might be some possibilities. This case is one I often thing about and would most like to see solved. Someone wiped out an entire family and has so far gotten away with it.
