Found Deceased VA - Molly Meghan Miller, 31, Charlottesville, 29 Dec 2017

Speaking of concrete, Molly was a mason. I wonder if her BF had learned about mixing cement and laying bricks, rocks, etc? It's possible Molly was behind a rock/brick/mortar wall.

Looking through her FB, I was in awe at her taking trash and making treasures. Recycling, reusing, repurposing. Very talent.

I was wondering if her being a “mason” with Eastern Star Masonry didn’t refer to Order of the Eastern Star?

she literally laid brick--had bricked their yard. He is similarly handy.

Wow, this is such a sad case. Wonder why the initial information about her leaving for a walk without a coat was so off base??

Is it certain that Molly made the purchases that day? Most people don't go shopping shortly before committing suicide. If she was buying food and things in a caring way to ensure her fiancé had plenty to eat, why would she commit suicide in their home? Does this suggest the suicide (if that's what it was) was completely reactionary and not pre-planned?

Good point. That much in groceries also seems like a hella lot for just two people unless she stocked up on all things like toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc.

what I understand from inside sources is that she told him he was going out for a quick walk, and he believed her. But in fact she went upstairs.

True, but remember some could have been cash back. Also, it is hella cold here right now and people have been stocking up when they go out so they don't have to keep going out in the cold.

Ah, ok. Thanks. I'm sorry for your loss :(.

Yes, good points. Especially about the cash back. I didn't think of that.

So in the attic? Had to be because otherwise he would've surely noticed. This makes me sad.

It was right before New Years, though. I spent almost that much for food for a small New Years Eve party this year and my friends don't drink (I didn't buy any alcohol). I think it would be easy to get to $300 with alcohol and party food. JMO, I think the grocery purchase was unrelated to whatever happened to Molly.

I have not seen any mention of owning a dog in msm. Only seen it on this thread. Did this evolve from a picture of her and a dog?

Wouldn't he have heard her move around? My house is really creaky. Perhaps he was busy doing something and had music on? I remain confused as to why he apparently didn't find her himself. Unless it was pre-planned, you'd think she would have to decide on a method and then find a suitable place. I would have possibly expected a room with a lock, maybe even a warning on the door.

Strange as this may sound, but committing suicide isn't very easy to do. It can take time. It takes an enormous amount of courage. I don't know her so I can't comment on her mental health, but women commit suicide differently to men. Men are often more 'out of the blue', so could have gone shopping and seemed apparently normal before taking their own life. Men tend to use more 'violent' methods too, such as hanging, shooting etc. Women tend to talk more, to cry and generally try overdosing, slitting wrists etc.

If Molly had a history of poor mental health and failed suicides and if she really did want to end her life, could have looked up a more likely to be successful method. This could have involved some things she bought that day.

Bottom line though, is how could she be hidden all that time? Could she have been in the loft (if not used as a room), or under a bed or in a wardrobe?

House is a real fixer upper. The whole upstairs is basically not habitable. They don't use it.

I think if he in fact did not do it, it was an OD, not a planned suicide.

I have submitted my name etc for verification. I do know the couple, quite well, particularly him.

I agree it looks suspicious for him; however, they are not typical people and nothing about their lives was typical. It is possible she went upstairs after saying she was going for a walk, OD'd, and he didn't find her. He was likely drunk that night and not thinking clearly until sometime the next day. I don't think she was suicidal or had a history of suicide attempts. I see how it is farfetched to think she could have been dead in the house for days and he wouldn't have found her, but it is possible that he didn't check areas of the house that are more or less "condemned" or that he was not home very much to check because he was at the police station, etc. I am also not sure if police would routinely search the home immediately in a missing persons report. If he reported her missing, might they assume he had already checked the home?
