I'm thinking the little girl was looking for someone to hold hands with, a first kiss maybe. I seriously doubt she had aspirations to have sex. I certainly didn't at 13.

Well, one can't be naive. Kids that age can want sex and do have sex. That is biologically normal for human beings.

What is most important to remember is that kids that age CANNOT LEGALLY CONSENT. So it is rape no matter what Nicole wanted.

I just read about NK and the Prozac - mentioned that she was getting half of the dosage in jail that the Dr. at VT had prescribed.

You can tuck this away until later but I expect we will hear that used as a contributing factor. If you google Prozac and murder you will find multiple hits. In a recent court case in Canada, it was ruled as the cause of a young person with no prior problems who stabbed and killed his friend. He was sentenced to time served plus 10 MONTHS!

IF she was prescribed this after being on campus a short while (had to be at the most 6 months - probably less) that will be brought up by the defense.

I am not saying that I agree or think it should be an excuse by ANY means - I am just saying I bet you it will be used by NK's defense attorneys.

Just as a personal note - my daughter was also prescribed a similar drug in college when she was having anxiety and a bout of depression. She finally weaned herself off after a year. I think it has become very accepted and over prescribed. We later found her vitamin D was very low and after dietary adjustments and exercise she is totally fine.

Additionally when she is responding to him there-- earlier we were all trying to figure out the two letter exchange and who was talking to who---
It was her, responding to him and she was saying "I guess".

Ok-so I have been going back and forth in the references to her having a BF and I don't believe there is one. I have seen a few articles that say they picked her up from there and a few that say she was in her room.
The references to being with her "Bae" on her IG are both not when she was in the Bburg area. The Brio reference was when she was in Maryland. The cocktail one she was in Colorado. She appears to have spent the holidays at a ski resort.
Additionally the references to happy thanksgiving and Christmas are backwards in her timeline. Thanksgiving was After Christmas. Just odd to me. Esp when she is wishing her followers happy holidays....
The only references we have seen where she calls anyone her Bae is when she is at home.

Well in Danish it means "poo" lol. Or something along those lines.
Tweens, Teenagers, 20s and even some of my own friends in their 30s call their bfs/gfs Bae. I hate it. (Annoys me)
I saw someone say earlier that it is also a term for a friend-- but I will just say with anyone I have ever seen reference it amongst a large diverse spectrum it is always associated with a boyfriend or girlfriend. And also-- I don't usually see it used outside of a certain circle if you will. Very hip, urban.... I was very very very surprised to see her use it when going through her boring IG. Her IG has so little in it-- I almost wonder if there is another one she used regularly. Kind of looks like this one is for show. Perfect little family, life, no parties, no friends really in it. Nothing like college kids. Or anyone under 40 really.

I'm not sure about screen shots. I wish I knew how to do a screen shot. That would be very interesting to see though. I agree - no common sense. Plenty of book smarts. They are both still so young too. If they had gotten away with Nicole's murder, no telling what they would have plotted next. Thinking about that makes the hair on my head stand up a little bit.

BBM - it is a common term used to mean everything from boyfriend or best friend - the acronym means "Before Anyone Else" but it has evolved and is not always used in a serious manner. You could be in a photo with a NFL quarterback and say "Just hanging out with my bae".

If anyone ever wants to look up terms used on social media that are pretty in line with the way they are actually used in real time/by real people this link/IG page is a good source. They keep it updated, fresh and fun!! But usually right on point vs like the urban dictionary and such.

Well, you've probably figured out the gist of it, but here's a summary:

Nicole's body was found a few yards from the road, face down, next to some rocks. There was no cover - it's not as if she were under bushes or branches, but rather left exposed. The officer in the video says he did not think her body was "placed" in that position, implying she was tossed or dumped and not arranged.

The thing is, just a few feet away is a very, very steep hill that leads to wooded bramble area. It doesn't seem like it would take much more effort to roll the body down that hill (geez, I feel awful writing this).

That's the gist of the video showing the location where Nicole was found.

The road itself looked small and narrow. I wouldn't expect there to be much traffic on it in the middle of the night, but also, any car parked there would definitely be noticed. So, perhaps, they were nervous and wanted to leave quickly.

Whatever the case, I'm thankful Nicole's body was recovered as quickly as it was.
