We really can't bank on what either one of them is saying. There may or may not have been a "side hug" He sort of left it out there whether or not NL went in the car with him, but she obviously did. He said "side hug" because he wanted to distance himself from LE thinking that there was sexual involvement. But, if he was there to pick her up in the car and quickly, so no one would see them, a side hug may have just been a greeting. Even if he had previously been involved in sexual activity with her, he wouldn't have stood out there making out and risking being caught. And the "side hug" may never have even happened. JMO
Regarding a "side hug"...I personally am not knowledgeable about what the purpose of a "side hug" would be. I talked to my 19 year old grandson who is a U.S. Airborne Army Ranger, my 18 year old nephew who is in the U.S. Navy and they both said that a "side hug" is more or less a "greeting".
I asked both of them if they would give me a "side hug". They both said "No you deserve a full hug because we love you".

Nicole left the window open (it was 21* outside) and didn't take her meds with her. I'm thinking she didn't plan on being outside very long.

I really hope I can access the show online, tonight! I'm really not focused on work today, with this case and the sweet little Titus. 😕

When exactly did the mom notice Nicole had left? In the morning or during the night?

Ahhh, that answers a question about whether Nicole thought she might be running away to live happily ever after with him. She would've known she had to take her medication along even if it was just for a few days.

Morning. It seems like I've seen 6:30 quoted. I think her meds were due at 7:00.

Around 7:00 am when she went to give Nicole her morning anti rejection meds. Apparently, she took those meds three times every day.

Her poor dad. Dr Phil was really digging and I think her father did a good job considering his loss is still so fresh

Nicole’s father, David, says as soon as he learned about his daughter’s death, he "knew" that social media played a role. He says that around Christmas, he and Nicole’s mother learned that the teen had been frequenting various chat sites. “We found out that Nicole had been on social media talking to inappropriate people. For a 13-year-old little girl, I thought some of the things that were said were inappropriate from my daughter,” David tells Dr. Phil in an exclusive interview airing Wednesday. “Nicole’s phone was supposed to be taken, disposed of.” But he adds that after a while, the teen got her phone back.

“What did you and her mother see that caused you concern?” Dr. Phil asks David. “You said some of the things she was saying you didn’t like.”

“Of course not. No father wants to see things like that coming out of their daughter,” he says. “Talking to older guys, which you could tell these older guys had fake profiles. They were pretending to be young guys.”

David tells Dr. Phil that his older daughter snooped around Nicole’s social media pages and took screenshots of the profiles to warn their father about her sister’s concerning behavior.

I can't believe she got her phone back so fast and then no verification that the behavior had ceased! My 13 yo DD does not even have a phone - borrows her Dad's phone when necessary. If Nicole had to have a phone, you can purchase an inexpensive non-smart phone that can only be used for texting and calls.

Did anyone catch the part where Dr. Phil comments Nicole took a suitcase and dad replied she took some things and her blanket?

Dr Phil may have thought that because Keepers had the blanket hidden in a suitcase. It will be interesting to know whose suitcase the blanket was in...and what else of Nicole's may have been in that suitcase.

Could that be the suitcase NK had in her dorm room, where she kept the blanket and cleaning supplies?

What in the world did Nicole take a suitcase for?! That poor kid. :(

I agree! She probably left the window open so she could easily sneak back into the house before her mom woke up. That's my theory, anyway.

So as per dad Nicole took a couple of things, a roll on luggage along with the minions blanket. She didn't go anywhere without it.
