I was looking for news, but there wasn't anything. I did find this article, it may have been posted before since it was first published in September 2016, but it's been updated on June 3, 2017. Doesn't say what's updated though... but it is a good read.

Most movement (IMO) in murder cases occurs in the days just before trial. That's only IF someone is offered a deal though or they opt to change their plea.

Now we just wait for justice to be served.

Thanks! I was just thinking about this today, too. There hasn't been much in the news, but the last articles indicated his trial was still scheduled for November and attorneys had until the end of September to file any motions, etc.

Sometimes I really worry these two will get off with some light punishment, due to their affluent backgrounds and high priced attorneys. Can any locals weigh in on how local jurors might be affected by that influence? TIA

I wouldn't be too concerned with that style of defense. DE's defense team hasn't had any motions filed to throw out evidence, yet. I believe they will probably try the case as circumstantial since DE didn't provide details with LE. (MOO)

Although it is really interesting that DE is being tried 1st and several months before NK's trial. I'm just hoping Nicole's Mom can find some sort of peace that justice has been served.
