Not yet for sure. Let's hope there's much more. I'm eager for them to discuss specific things to DE, besides blood in his car. They've confirmed DE's DNA on NL's body and under her fingernails, so there's that. But I'd be more comfortable with blood on his shoes, his dna found on the knife recovered, somebody linking the knife found to causing the injuries, etc.

My concern will be that defense will stir up some smoke about all of this unknown dna and how someone other than DE could have driven his car, etc...and the dna on NL's body and under fingernails were done after a brief make-out encounter when he didn't want to "hurt her feelings" so he smooched a bit before leaving her apartment.

What unknown DNA are you referring to?

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. - 4:07 p.m. UPDATE:

...Cory Bartoe, a fingerprint specialist with the Virginia Department of Forensic Science, to the stand.

Through his testimony, the court learned that six latent fingerprints were found on the cleaning wipes container found in the trunk of Eisenhauer’s vehicle.

Bartoe said he was able to match six of those prints to Eisenhauer. He also said the bloody palm print on the shovel belonged to Natalie Keepers.

He also testified that he was able to match three fingerprints found on another Clorox container discovered in the back of Eisenhauer's vehicle to Natalie Keepers.

I'm afraid to ask who was the owner of the bloody underwear found in NK's room. I can't imagine any scenario that isn't horrible.

...A picture of blood stains on a minions blanket is proved to belong to Lovell. The same goes for a pair of female underpants. Blood was collected from the waistband.

Why would Keepers attorney approach the bench when his client is not currently on trial? They are being tried separately, correct? Keepers and her attorney are there in case she is called as a witness??

4:30 p.m. UPDATE: The commonwealth called Blacksburg Police Department Detective Desiree Twigger again to testify about data collected from Eisenhauer's and Keepers' phone.

Twigger began giving information about Keepers KIK account known as “Rachel GoldSparrow” under username “hugsalskdgfhg.”

The defense asked to address the court without the jury present in the room.

Defense attorney John Lichtenstein said that evidence is hearsay and said it should not be allowed in court.

Thursday ended with a debate about whether or not records of electronic communication between Eisenhauer and his alleged accomplice, Natalie Keepers, should be admissible to a jury.

Chief Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney Patrick Jensen called Det. Deziree Twigger to the stand to testify that Blacksburg police had pulled records of conversations between the two Virginia Tech freshmen around the time of 13-year-old Nicole Lovell’s disappearance.

Defense Attorney John Lichtenstein objected, spurring a flurry of closed-door meetings between Eisenhauer and his attorneys, then prosecution and defense teams, and finally all the lawyers and Judge Robert Turk.

After about 40 minutes, Turk sent the jury home for the day, saying there was something he needed to settle with the attorneys.

My God, the picture of DE's mom falling apart with DE's dad standing far away from her blankly is so telling. DE is so similar to his father.

I'm surprised the prosecution isn't showing any pics of Nicole's (RIP) body yet. It doesn't look like they're pulling any emotional strings at all (yet). I'd curious to see any change to DE's face.

Must be damning evidence if the defense is fighting this hard to keep the jury from hearing it! I think ALL evidence should be shown so that jury doesn't find out later this or that wasn't known to them. How can you make a decision if you aren't given the evidence? Present it all, both sides, and let the jury be informed.
