Eva Pilgrim of ABC's Good Mourning America and AMW's John Walsh also in attendance.

hearing that his defense will be that Keepers was very jealous of his Eisenhauer's newfound love, defense will pin everything on Keepers and the mystery 4 inch "catfight gash" on her cheek. Saying that yes eisenhauer did in fact go the woods with the girl on a legit date, but when he came back from his car to get the girl roses, she was gone, leaving Eisenhauer "sad and confused" as to who kidnapped the girl when he stepped away

(Remember, no one actually saw David E commit any crime, and he denies it. No one knows where Keepers really was)

Roses?? What the heck. Where did that detail come from?

So he's saying Keepers knew where he would be with NL and waited on a cold winter night in the dark for the off-chance he would leave the girl alone - and then Keepers killed her.

Huh?

So DE went from saying he just gave Nicole a side kiss at the window when he saw how young she was...to now, that he did have a date with Nicole and trying to pin this on NK...wow!

How is he going to explain how he had a date with a 13 year old then? After seeing her, then going back to the car to get roses? What about his buddy he texted about how to get rid of a body? Too much to explain away.

Equally strange is that NL would have stayed out in the freezing dark woods, in the middle of the night, all by herself, with nothing but a kid's blanket to keep her warm. This guy doesn't live in the real world.

He's told so many different versions of his stories about NL to so many different people, no one will believe him when he floats a new one.

WildLake13, will you be regularly attending the trial?

But a jury stacked with young men might? They likely haven't been following the case at all, so this will be the first story they hear.

Is it too early to worry?

Keepers officially coming out of hiding. Summoned to witness box in TWO days. Courtroom audience, Lovell family has many opinions over that one.

Remember, she will be Pleading The Fifth on the stand

What are the opinions about that? Surely no worse than having to watch Norman Bates....err...David Eisenhauer.

Do tell.

If she pleads the 5th, doesn't that make her look guilty? Which is exactly what DE defense wants her to look like.

Oh boy.

Sadly, it wouldn't be surprising these days to see a defense team use sexism to sway a jury in a murder trial. In the south. There's so much evidence against DE, they must be desperate to come up with something. There was speculation at the time the only reason DE included NK in his plans was to frame her for the murder. She was so blinded by her obsession with him that she fell for it.

ETA: As always, we'll have to see what story the evidence tells.

It's the girls' fault. Both of the girls. One for pretending to be older than she was and one for being jealous.

Is that the defense?

And many of the jurors probably have an inadequate understanding of the US Constitution to know why defendants plead the Fifth.

Well, let's see what comes out in the news. We appreciate the input from our new member, but let's make sure the information is accurate.

Remember though NK had a boyfriend. DE had ... nope not buying the jealousy angle. No expert witnesses on his behalf. That`s interesting.

As of right now, we appear to be up to 18 potential jurors in the #DavidEisenhauer case. Judge Turk has said that he wants 26 jurors. @ABC13News

12 jurors and 14 alternates?

I'm not usually a trial watcher. Is that usual?

No, it's usually about 3 alternates. I think the judge wants 26 jurors for the prosecution and the defense to choose from.
