Uh oh, what's up with this...anyone found a livestream for tomorrow?

We won't have a live stream due to VA courtroom guidelines, but we do have cameras in the courtroom and a recap every evening.

I'm thinking we won't get a live feed (but I hope I'm wrong). The judge has allowed one still camera and one video camera so I think it may be taped but no live feed. :( I really want to watch this trial so someone please tell me that I'm wrong!

Read it for yourself! Ever confident Eisenhauer, already working the jurors..

I'd call him arrogant instead of confident. JMO

Yes, I'm looking around online to see what I can discover, too. As JerseyGirl said, the trial begins today at 1 pm. Perhaps they'll show video periodically through the day, same with still photos.

Wanting to watch this part so we can learn about the evidence the prosecution has. They've held that information very close to the vest since the first day. There's a lot we don't yet know about this crime and the case they've built against the perps. While it's been frustrating to know so few details, JMO, it was the right decision for prosecutors to make. They're up against a very expensive, tough defense team.

On Monday, Eisenhauer loudly answered “not guilty” as Judge Robert Turk asked for a plea on each charge. Eisenhauer wore a blue button-down shirt and khakis with a Navy blue blazer and a green tie. He stood and smiled to introduce himself to potential jurors but otherwise mostly sat motionless between his attorneys.

It took about seven hours to whittle the pool of 36 possible jurors to 26 through questioning. Then each side subtracted six more to finish with a jury of 14 — 12 who will eventually decide the case and two alternates.

I've been looking too, but haven't found anything yet.

I surely hope this is not the case, but you may be right Considering...if so, that article about the judge approving cameras was really misleading. Even the James Holmes' (Aurora Theatre killer) trial in CO allowed one camera and was live streamed. Not knowing what the VA court's protocol is, it may be different.

Gotta admit...this guy does have good lawyers and he has been following advice.

That news reporter said the law won't allow a live stream. That really stinks.

So no cameras - but are reporters allowed in the courtroom for live tweeting?

I hope so. I so wanted to hear the evidence presented myself via a live feed.

Thanks for that. Cameras are allowed in VA courts, and Jens Soering/Elizabeth Haysom were one if not the first ones on TV here. I don't know why the judge has ruled not to allow them at this trial. Was hoping he would because I want to see everything the jury hears... Grrr!

Cameras are allowed at this trial, just no live broadcasting, the way I'm reading it. We'll see when they start.

ETA: 1 Video and 1 still camera is allowed. Tweeting is probably ok. Some were doing it yesterday. Tweeting and live updates via text/online news reporting.

Does anyone else think DE has sexually molested young girls before NL? I think he started early, probably when he was pre- or early teen. I wonder if we'll learn more about his online activities during the trial? I have a feeling he stalked others before using Kik and other SM sites.

This is disappointing, as we all wanted to watch. Reading what happens is better than nothing, but it leaves so much out.

The only thing I can come up with for the judge not allowing a livestream is that Nicole was a minor and there may be some awkward testimony (being polite). I remember when this first happened it was in juvenile court and it was an issue, but then got switched to adult court...so don't know. It may also have to do with NK's trial to follow...just guessing, it could be something totally different.

I have gone back and forth on that thought and also that DE was an inexperienced introvert. We'll see what comes out at trial.

Will the videos be available later? I know lady justice on YouTube will post later on. But does this mean we won’t watch at all not just live?

It needs to be streamed somewhere to be able to be uploaded and post. Maybe they will be released at a later time.
