Harph is one of the officers who went searching for #NicoleLovell's body. He said Lovell was in a seated position, deceased about 5 feet below the road. @ABC13News

i remember they just tossed her down a hill at the side of the road in a really remote area. Poor girl. They must have been driving around for hours with her in the car.

Sorry...but did they have her sitting in the backseat of the car and rigor set in? I always assumed she was in the trunk.

I never heard anything about that...if it did happen. I thought they may had offered NK one for testimony in DE's trial....but doesn't seem to be the case.

Harph positively ID'd photos of Lovell's body. He's done. Now a Chief Medical Examiner in Roanoke Gayle Suzuki has taken the witness stand.

Lovell has a few scrapes and bruises on her forehead and dried abrasions on her back. She also had bruises on the inside of her scalp, and a fracture of the cervical spine, of the 6th cervical vertebrae.

Lovell also had a stab wound to her ears, and 8 stab wounds on the upper part of the chest. That along with the cuts to her neck. @ABC13News

Suzuki says Lovell's injuries were consistent with her being alive at the time her vertebrae was severed. @ABC13News

How can anyone inflict so much pain?? OMG! Murder is terrible, but IMO, torturing someone before murder is worse. Nicole must have been so terrified, alone, and in so much pain. Broken vertebra while alive! Horrific!
