the defense is now saying that the murder weapon could have been a shovel, and the coroner just said "that was never crossed my mind". Defense intentionally trying to confuse jurors, and take their minds off of a knife. Jurors body language, now sitting up in their chairs, indicates they are thinking about a shovel now, not a knife.

Are you in the courtroom?

Recall the coroner already testified that she was living up until the time her spinal cord was severed. That was the result of a stab wound, IIRC.

Recall Pettitt said in her opening statement that DE told LE in interviews that he was the last person to see NL alive. Maybe this guy will testify to that.
