That is still abuse! Just because someone doesn't "mean" to kill someone means not much, to me, when abuse was involved. I would bet most of the time abuse was severe, but they didnt expect the child to die because they have done it many times before. I can say 100%, hitting a human on the head with a brush out of punishment/ anger/ frustration is abuse. I know so because I was the Associate Director for a home serving adults with developmental disabilities. My staff hit my client on the head with a brush (no harm/ fractures were caused). Another client told me. I filed an abuse complaint. He was found guilty of abuse to an infirmed. It is abuse. Not an accident. No one's hand "accidentally" slips with a brush hard enough to fracture a skull.

I didn't say it was not abuse. Just that the force could indeed crack the skull of a 5 yr old .

I am trying to gather the probable causes of death for poor Noah...

Disease/illness/medical condition (we have heard nothing of this in this case)

Accident...(still possible considering the lack of facts about this case)

Homicide ...(also possible considering the above and , if homicide, then who is responsible?)

Suicide...(not in this case)

Undetermined ...(possible, but I think this one will be an unlikely result)

Have I missed any?

I think you covered it

I need help!!

I had some problems with my computer so I haven't been online for a few days. I'm going back to try and catch up but in the meantime, can some nice person give me an update? The last I read was where the autopsy was finished but the COD was not released until at least Monday. Has anything important happened since them? Has anyone been arrested? Has COD been released? Has CS removed the infant from the home?

TIA...I promise I'll do the same for someone when I can. :tyou:

COD is pendíng additional testing that could take several weeks. LE wont reveal if the baby is still in the home. No lingering danger to other children

  • #665
To me that is a big deal if so. This is what I have wondered about and the sheriff will not comment saying it is part of the investigation?

Do we know anything beyond this comment? Has anyone said officially that the infant has been removed from the home?

I know for me at least, when I have said "accident", I have meant an action that was not intended to result in death. It's sad to have to make the distinction between abuse and intentional murder, but that's the way things are. And it sucks. :/

And I'm not saying this is the case here... Just clarifying for the purpose of discussion.

Hi Courtneyb, when is church service on Sunday and when does it finish, if you know? I am wondering if there would be higher traffic around the time Noah disappeared (9:30??-10:30 am) TIA

Well, and there is still that changing of the timeline thing! First, she reported one time and then it was changed to an earlier time.

I remember that at one point in the beginning one of the media sources reported that Noah was last seen with another male child and then they changed that. So, can we be absolutely positive that mom changed the timetime or could that be another misquote by media?

It sounds like the final results of how this darling boy died will be weeks away. My heart breaks for him and his loved ones.

Whether it was bolted down or not, 2 reputable sources have confirmed that the lid to the tank was buried beneath the sod. Also, if the lid was so close to the surface of the sod that a 5 yr old could step on that spot and break through the sod, the lid and fall into the tank, one would think that LE would have noticed the obvious resultant disruption to the sod when they checked the tank the first time.

I've been wondering if we knew for sure the septic tank lid was in place. Do you have the links for the 2 sources you reference in your post?

TIA

Nothing official.

A reporter tweeted that she had unofficially heard the baby was no longer in the home. There is a link a few posts back.

ETA post #636 has the link.

Here is the video again with Suri Crowe on the property. She states that she cant tell anymore where the tank lid was as it is "not apparent" anymore. We can see Noah's bicycle, a mini 4 wheeler, his trucks. I also noticed what looks like a hole in the ground @1:26. I'm not sure if I'm correct. It is to the right of the image near the tree. Also, I think the little red shed was moved by LE as was the beige shed.

I'm probably really wrong about this too, but many of the photos I've seen of Noah make me think he needs glasses. I wonder if he fell a lot and was accident prone? JMO

Slightly off topic to current discussion but I came across a picture taken from a different angle that gives a better indication where the tank is in relation to the house up front and the road. Assuming the blue tarp is where the tank is.

Is the Thomas mobile home is behind this house?

One thing that kind of makes me think...if this was a homicide and LE has a suspect, I feel that if it was an outsider, an arrest would have been made already. Also the fact that LE does not feel anyone else to be in danger is significant and worrisome, Imo. If this is true because it WAS an accident, LE is messing up tremendously by not telling the community at once and showing how it could happen to other children. Jmo

This is not directed toward the person who originally asked this, but since the same questions are asked over and over, I thought I would share. You can always go to thread tools and search certain words and see all the posts that talked about that, in case you need to catch up. I think Thread #2 had lots of links and discussions, so thats a good place to search. Most of the questions people have had already been discussed at length with links and it might be easier to go back and read all the commentary. I'm not being snippy, I'm being sincere in trying to help.

Edited to add--- actually, it says "Search thread" so its real easy to find. You dont even go into tools. Its at the top of the thread, under the name of the thread you are on, on the right. Its great.

The links for both statements (one of landlord, one of the reporter) are both in this thread if you want to search for them.
