Found Safe VA - Orin Barrymorre Teasley, 49, Suffolk, missing again, 16 Apr 2019 *Endangered*

Orin Barrymorre Teasley, 49, a Suffolk resident, was last seen Jan. 8 in the area of Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth, according to a city press release.

He was declared missing Jan. 11 and declared endangered this Wednesday in light of additional information, the city press release stated.

Teasley is described as a black male who is 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs about 220 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Teasley “has a diminished mental capacity and has been reported to need continuous care with day-to-day functions and may not know his surroundings or address, therefore making him endangered,” the press release states.

Anyone who knows his whereabouts should not approach him but immediately call 911 or their local police department.

Just before 1 p.m., Chesapeake Police were called to the group home, located in the 800 block of Parapet Road, regarding the missing man.

Orin Teasley had been living at the group home for one day. Police say his caregiver reportedly let Teasley outside to smoke a cigarette and when the caregiver went to check on him, Teasley was gone.

Teasley is wearing an ID bracelet and has been reported missing two other, recent times, according to police.

He was last seen wearing athletic shoes, gray pants and a silky dress shirt.

If anyone sees Teasley or has information about his location, contact Chesapeake Police.

What?! How?! Oh, my Lort! How is this happening? Would they not have been watching him like a hawk since he’d just been found...a second time? This poor man isn’t going to have a happy ending and be found every time. Something awful is going to happen to him eventually. It sounds like he needs to be placed in a secure facility, for his safety. Bless his heart, I hope they’ll find him quickly. jmo

Orin B. Teasley, 49, of the 2200 block of W Grace Street, was reported missing from Clara’s Adult Home West. He was last seen on April 16 and is in need of medication for multiple health conditions.

Teasley was last seen wearing an orange jacket, a brown or black shirt and sweatpants. He is approximately 5’ 9” tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds.
