Yeah it's not, this is someone whose body and probably brain was eating him alive and he made it worse by self medicating with drugs and alcohol. I sort of believe his story, i know it sounds ridiculous but his health in the leadup and that he apparently didn't drink or take drugs that often beforehand is a pretty compelling reason to believe that his brain was melting. I think that's why they offered him a plea deal to ensure he got life, a good defence lawyer could've made a compelling case that he should've got a lesser sentence.

It's sounds like death would have been the sentence maybe quicker without prison. If cancer was in his brain or his body was failing him and even if he was insane technically he'd need medical and supervision. Prisons sometimes have decent healthcare. He was in a federal prison?

Up and down, we got prematurely told she was in the clear then two days later got told it spread. She still seems fine although it's only the early days of her medication, the doctor advised her not to take chemo in the end so she didn't need the wig but she had to have her teeth removed. Thanks for asking!
That is horrible. Is it terminal?

My friends mom got very mean when cancer got to her brain. She didn't have a gun but she didn't always recognize her daughter. She would yell at her like she was a stranger.

I don't know if cancer was in his brain i was going off the fact that chemotherapy can cause brain damage and dementia and he had just had aggressive chemotherapy in the lead up. I imagine the less healthy someone is the more likely complications like that are to emerge and he had also just had a heart attack. I think he was getting very drunk and full of drugs to numb the pain and he was also mentally declining and that's what lead to this. Yep, federal BOP Inmate Locator was where i found that he died in August this year.

Thankfully no, she was diagnosed a year ago this month and you wouldn't even be able to tell other than the false teeth. She had surgery earlier this year, but she's just started taking cancer medication last month.

Prisons sometimes keep people alive. Even if they execute they want them healthy before that.

Yep, and he was 57 years old that's the sort of age dementia symptoms start emerging without all of the health problems he had and without having something done to you that can cause it.

That's good!

Yeah he was probably better off there, seems like he was a mechanic all his life and he was only working part time in the leadup due to his health problems so health insurance could have been an issue.

Yeah, they won't execute you unless you pass a physical lol, one got called off a few years back for a health reason i'm forgetting now. That's obviously to prevent gruesome executions with a lot of suffering.

They want you really healthy when they kill you lol. He probably would have better treatment in prison. He just passed away.

Someone reported him pretty quickly and specifically. So he was behaving in a way that made people think he shot a couple.

Yeah for me this is pretty much case closed unless jaejae has something to share, being genuine there jaejae if you read this i'm interested. The only interesting thing i've seen is that he does kind of resemble the Connecticut River Valley Killer sketch but i mean so would Adam Lanza if he reached that age, it's just a very gaunt pale looking man. Plus i haven't seen any pictures of Jackson when he was younger, that's Jackson after a heart attack and aggressive chemotherapy obviously he looked gaunt and pale.

He looks like someone in a wanted picture.

Yeah wanted for cooking meth not for being a criminal mastermind lol.

Or bad wig selection (I know that is mean). Meth makes you nuts without cancer or anything else. It's oddly believable he was delusional. I think DeAngelo the Golden State Killer/Rapist is more dangerous. He is a cop and a rapist he gets no sympathy from me.

Can't wait for his trial to get the full story. I don't think he was a criminal mastermind but he was definitely very crafty and dangerous.

I'm not really convinced criminal masterminds are a real thing. The most impressive criminals are like spies or valuable art thieves who get away with it but they always have a lot of money and powerful connections plus it's a group planning this out not solely an individual most of the time.

If Israel Keyes' claims are true (i'm skeptical) then he'd be the closest for a serial killer i'm aware of. Ted Bundy is the usual answer but he was just lucky and was dealing with idiotic police, he introduced himself as Ted to potential victims and drove around in his regular car, his girlfriend told LE she thought it was him twice and both times they dismissed it due to him being a seemingly clean cut law student despite his name being Ted, him driving around in the same vehicle and him often having unexplained items in his house and car.He definitely had high intelligence for a serial killer (since a lot of them have learning disabilities and mental illness) but he was no mastermind.

Maybe there's some genius serial killer out there but i think it's more likely they'd have got away with it through a combination of luck and poor investigation.

Is there evidence he raped anyone? I haven't been able to find much on his background.

That's the case you will not find that much on him. I do not think he went crazy aged 56. The DA at the time and his lawyer did not think that. Also he did not want to plead guilty at first so do not get fooled by that one either. It is not for me to tell you what to do but do not get too bogged down with my cases and keep looking at the other one on here:)

DeAngelo was the police. He knew what cops compared what they looked for. He still had an impulse to rape and kill as bad or worse than the need to use drugs. Eventually they screw up, get old or go to jail.
I agree there are no criminal masterminds or evil geniuses. Ted Bundy used his own name and was rejected by one if not more women at Lake Sammanish who didn't buy his boat scam. He kidnapped two women separately that day but still he used his name people could recognize him and his car. He was lucky, and white, not brilliant. I think we tend to think killers are smarter or more clever than us when really they just don't care. They don't have feelings like most people so they aren't riddled with guilt when they do horrible things we can't really understand. Their only advantage is that they are socio/psychopaths.

He appealed because that lawyer didn't represent him well and the judges reviewing the case agreed with him, the lawyer told him that his mental state and health would be inadmissable.
