Found Deceased VA - Rob Havey, 37, Henrico, 17 March 2016

I'm so sorry to read about Rob's passing....such a young man gone too soon. I hope he has found the peace he was searching for if it was suicide.

RIP. My prayers are with him, his family & loved ones.

Oh no :( So sad.

RIP Rob. Prayers for his family for both strength and peace.

RIP Rob.

You see a story like this one and your brain marks this as the biggest fear: that he went somewhere to take his own life.

Whether or not that's the case, it's a terrible loss for his family. I hope he is at peace.

Did anyone notice his company has not posted on their FB Page about his disappearance? I understand it is business, however, business is usually "family" too.

Was going to respond to the post but I see he was found.

RIP young man!

Gosh it's almost eerie to look at that photo of Rob walking out of his workplace the last day he was seen.....I can't help but wonder what was on his mind as he left. He must have been terribly troubled, but maybe not. Maybe his mind was finally at rest.

I don't know why I wonder about these things but it really bothers me. One of my co-workers committed suicide last year and it bothered me so much....I had seen him that day when he left work and he was his usual happy go lucky self.
So very, very sad.

Oh no. I was away for a day and just got here to find this news of Rob's passing. So sad. Prayers for his soul and for his loved ones.

Someone found Havey's truck on Pony Farm Road in Louisa over the weekend. A man's body was inside the vehicle, Henrico Police spokesman Lt. Chris Eley said.

"We are currently working with the Office of the Medical Examiner and the Louisa County Sheriff's Office to positively identify the decedent and to determine manner and cause of death," Eley said. "At this time, there is no indication of foul play."

Is that close to where his phone last pinged? I know that this looks like suicide but still hoping he died from natural causes. Wishful thinking I guess :( My prayers to his family. I can't imagine their pain....

It looks like the area he was found is in the vicinity of the cell tower his phone was pinging.

Leatherwood Tree Farm is approximately two or so miles from Pony Farm Road where he was found. It depending where on Pony Farm Road he was found...could be a bit less than 2 miles or could be a bit more from the tree farm. It is a long road, lots of land, very wooded, homes and other roads leading off of it.

Suicide, I'm speculating. [emoji22]

Because the article says Rob and his vehicle were located my first thought was an accident with maybe Rob ended up in water. But since they didn't mention an accident I'm assuming that's not the case. Why would they mention finding his vehicle if this was a suicide?

Prayers for his family. RIP Rob:rose:

I am assuming he drove down a dirt road or off into land from Pony Farm Road. Again, assuming that is why his vehicle with him in it was not visible to travelers driving up and down Pony Farm Road the last two plus weeks. In my opinion, from traveling that road several times in the past you would not be able to miss a vehicle pulled off to the side of the road. In some instances on that road you would not even be able to pull off to the side.

This is very very heartbreaking. If this was suicide we don't know what he was going through.I wondered about his mother saying we can fix anything. It is hard to tell sometimes people smile and suffer on the inside.I just wish that people would call the suicide hotline. One person can make a difference. Unfortunately there are some that won't take help from anyone.
