The Town of Orange Police Department reports no new developments in the continued search for missing Orange woman, Samantha Clarke, then 19, who was first reported missing 15 months ago.

I would hope not, Orange is a big wooded ,wilderness in terms of a missing person. Everytime I drive out there I wonder where she could be,one day it hit me she could be anywhere out there. If anyone hears of volunteer searches (i think they do there to clear area's ) please post , I would be out there in a heartbeat and driving time.

The find Samantha Clark facebook has been taken offline. So has Samantha's personal facebook.

I also had the thought that we never really heard what Samantha had been doing before she went missing. We also do not have a way to tell for sure if she was the one to post the messages to her myspace ,which hints at a person who might harm themselves but for some reason (I think a good one) LE has said they suspect foul play. I do not know if her myspace is still acive or not ,but I do believe both of the now offline facebook pages are part of the case building OC is doing . IMO.

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but one thing I noticed about Samantha is that she is way too sexualized (is there such a word) in her approach to love and life. There are only comments (crude ones at best) under her suggestively posed myspace pictures. There are no comments under her other pictures. In the photo in the beginning of this thread, she is wearing a t-shirt which says "Hotter than I should be" Basically, I'm thinking she may have got into some kind of bad situation with a man. I think she wants love, but may have been looking in all the wrong places. In a sense, playing with fire. Yet, she did write some disturbing things on her myspace as well, so she could have got carried away with narcotics and/or alcohol. I hope they find her. She just seems confused and a little misguided. Most kids go through a phase. JMO

A car can often be seen in the town of Orange with the words “still missing” written across the back window in white shoe polish and the portrait of a young woman taped up on the inside.

Another area person listed as missing is Samantha Clarke, who went missing from Orange County in September 2010. Clarke told family members on the night she disappeared that she would be visiting friends for the night and would return in the morning.

Anyone think Samantha's case may be connected to Morgan Harrington's and/or Lauren Susann Smith (VA VA - Lauren Susann Smith, 22, Madison County, 21 Nov 2011 - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community).

I don't know whether or not they're connected, but if Morgan's killer is still out there (as opposed to being dead or in jail on other charges) and in the area, I doubt Morgan was his first abduction & murder or his last.

They have not said so that I know of (but I am new to this case as well and frankly, there's not a lot of info about Samantha's case other than this thread).

I don't see where this has been posted on Samantha's thread- it's the most recent article about Samantha I could find. It has an interview with a man who claims he's been pinpointed as a suspect and harassed by police:

47-year-old Randy Allen Taylor claims police have singled him out as a suspect in Samantha's disappearance, and have harassed him by planting evidence and illegally tracking his whereabouts with GPS technology, even though he's told them he hardly knew her

Wow that article has a lot of info in it. I had been reading this thread think how can there be so little information about this girl. Hard to say what really happened, or who was telling the truth, but there sure seem to be a lot of leads for the police to follow. Two lovers, a jealous girlfriend, and older man leaving a lot of messages . . . crazy stuff.

I hope they find her and whoever took her.

Just bumping Samantha's thread as there's some *possibly* related action going on right now in the case of missing VA teen Alexis Murphy & a Randy Taylor (same name as the man named in the link above as a suspect in Samantha's case; hasn't been confirmed it's the same Randy Taylor).

As it has now been confirmed as the same Randy Taylor, prayers for Samantha and her family. Hopefully this will bring long awaited answers.

Samantha Clarke has been missing since September 13, 2010. Her mother says the suspect in Alexis Murphy's case, Randy Taylor, was the same man who called her daughter six times in the hours before she disappeared.
