Details of Disappearance​

Talley was last seen in Lovingston, Virginia on August 29, 2000. He was hitchhiking to Waynesboro, Virginia at the time. He has never been heard from again. Few details are available in his case.

I’m bumping this. Thanks PennysMom for posting this.

I often post cases involving people, especially men, who are not young, and may have little to no one looking for them.

This guy was hitchhiking between two points in Virginia at the time he was last heard from, has been missing for a very long time. With that being about the only relevant clues I can find with a surface-level google search, and it means ****-All could have happened to him. Was he robbed or otherwise victimized by a highway stranger? Was his hitchhiking trip a springboard to starting a new life whether on the low or as a transient?

I am no insider, psychic nor wizard in the matter, but the case and the photo give me a vibe of someone who could have been adventurous, independent, even mysterious, and could certainly imagine this being a case where he dropped off the face of the earth and lived for years thereafter. But that is just speculation and I’m hoping my bump will inspire a fresh look into Stephen’s case
