RICHMOND, Va. - Missing mental health records of Virginia Tech gunman Seung-Hui Cho have been discovered in the home of the university clinic's former director, Gov. Tim Kaine said Wednesday.

Removal was illegal
Kaine said a Virginia State Police criminal investigation into how the records disappeared from the center where Cho was ordered to undergo counseling is under way. Removing records from the center is illegal, he said.

I'm very curious to see what those records held...and why they were snatched!

So, were the records closed files that were, for example, moved to storage (like his garage) a year before? The way it is reported makes it sound like a doctor took a single file home (implying that he meant to hide it).
