KY is a state they're looking, can you message me any good info?

Chris, I recommend that you contact Tricia, the WS owner, and ask to be approved as a professional poster. Once she verifies your identity, she can approve you to send and receive private messages. It is an easy process. Otherwise, one must reach a total of 50 posts (IIRC) before this priviledge is granted. Just an FYI since you are a new member :)

According to LE...someone has to be helping them. (should be changed to him...she's 12, who could she possibly know willing to aid a fugitive)
From what I've read on here and in some of the articles, he wasn't that fabulous of an individual to have accumulated a lot of friends. No idea how big of a family he has but it shouldn't be too too hard to find out what close family members have been up to the last five days.
Unless its one of those vile pedophile groups :sick::sick: Hopefully they're disecting his computer. He's into young girls....Brittany is probably not the first.

BBM...That was one of the first things to cross my mind, too. If there's a much bigger picture, he may have all the help he needs.

I think this scenario is less likely, though. I can't see him aiming for the woods if he's eventually to meet up with some other sicko(s). MOO...

That handcuff buddy thing is really creepy IMO. Why on earth would BS call him that??

I don't get it either. I've been sitting here for the past hour or so trying to figure out what on earth that could mean..and I have no idea. :waitasec:

Chris,

Do you have access to criminal records for Alabama?

We have hit a dead end there, but one of my earlier posts shows a string of criminal issues in North Carolina and then in 2002 he just disappears from those records. Seeing that we know he did not become an upstanding member of society since then his criminal record has to pick up somewhere else. Alabama was our guess but their records were not accessible.

Hmmm - my first thought was Great Falls, VA...

SW is now SC, posted on an online obit for a person who died from Wilmington NC... SC is listed as being in Great Falls MT...

it is a homicide, but no word on any suspects (i.e. JE)

Is there any indication LE has spoken to teachers or counselors at BS' school that she may have confided in? Why wasn't she in school on Friday???

Where you able to get any information from neighbors?

Any info that you have from people you've talked to that we don't have access to interogate  would be helpful...

I didn't think of that but i was just thinking: a bright blue tent is NOT something you'd buy if you're hiding. You'd want a brown or tan or forest-green -- something that would be hard to spot. :waitasec:

We go camping a lot! Blue tents are very common. Probably the most common color you would see. A blue ozark tent would fit right in at any campground.

we know he was in AL in 2004, so where was he for two years in between?

What is the weather like around the Southern Florida beaches right now? Anyone from there?

I'm doubting JE goes very far off the beaten path, especially carrying supplies needed for the cold weather. He may have ridden a few riding lawnmowers as a landscaper, but he looks rather doughy and out of shape to me. Sometimes those types can fool ya but he looks like well seasoned couch potato. JMO

I think it's possible, but how much are those tents? With them not having much money, I don't know if it was the wisest idea for them to "waste it" on throwing off LE.

I believe the same thing. I don't think he would have wasted any money that they might have needed. He doesn't seem that smart IMO. At the same time though, it's hard telling what goes on in these minds, especially with last minute plans, but I really think there was no plan. I think this was all spur of the moment ; so why not hit up Walmart right away instead of later because the more time went by, the faster someone would discover TS. If I were in his shoes, I think I would do everything right away and then go into hiding. It's hard telling what skills he knows about the land such as hunting, camping, fishing, and just surviving the wild. He also could be totally stupid and just going on adrenaline. It's really hard to tell, especially since no one seems to know much about him.

Has there been any mention of whether or not he has any military background?

He has two assault charges, one against a government official, and a domestic violence. His record start before he was 17, I doubt he military material.

"HCB" = Handcuff Buddy and "ILY" = I Love You.

From some stuff I saw last night, it looks like JE might have been into playing games like Magic The Gathering. There was mention of handcuff skills in some of this role-playing, which may or may not be relevant. I didn't pursue it very much, so maybe one of you other sleuther's could check it out? I have to go pick up my daughter.... Be back latter...

I agree... but I think they're somewhere more remote. And there aren't many folks camping on the East Coast in this weather right now. Just seems to me that he would've picked something more subdued if he knew LE would be looking for them. However, it could have been the only one they had in stock...? Coming from a family of hunters, I also know that there are camouflaged nets you can throw over things as well.

It just stood out to me as something not very conducive to 'being on the run'.
