MISSING: Police search for 29-year-old from Portsmouth

PORTSMOUTH DETECTIVES SEARCH FOR MISSING MAN
PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Detectives with the Portsmouth Police Department Special Victims Unit are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Portsmouth man. According to detectives, 29-year-old William R. White was last seen leaving his home, located in the 4400 block of Green Acres Parkway, on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. No one has seen or heard from Mr. White in the last week. Detectives are concerned for Mr. White’s well-being because he suffers from a medical condition that requires medication, which he does not have with him.
William White is a white male who stands approximately 6’1” tall and weighs between 185 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Mr. White was last seen wearing a red shirt, gray pants, and sandals.
If you have seen 29-year-old William R. White or know his whereabouts, please contact the Portsmouth Police Department immediately at (757) 393-5300 or call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP℠ (1-888-562-5887). As always, callers are never asked to give their name or required to testify in court. If a caller’s tip leads to an arrest, the recovery of drugs or stolen property they could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
