The bickering will get us closed down.
If you don't like what someone says, don't respond. If you must respond, at least don't quote the offensive post.

We are here to show Jaycee love and support and to seek resolution to other cases that may have a connection. We are not, to the best of my knowledge, here to argue over our personal opinions of the area she was held in and the people that live there now. Nor are we here to argue over personal communications and whether they were legit. Come on now. Enough is enough.

all i ever do is show jaycee love and support. and i try to share my insights on the this case too.
i also try to add a bit of humor, but apperently that too seems to be offensive now.

I understand you are frustrated an in an online setting it is difficult to say what we mean sometime. I didn't mean you, specifically. But if JBean or another mod has to come in and delete a page or 2 of bickering, I can't blame them for shutting down the thread. I didn't say that anyone was being offensive, at least not intentionally. Just a suggestion that if a post offends someone, ignore it or hit alert, and let a mod sort it out. Several bickering posts will solve nothing, and accomplish nothing.
We could all take a moment, step back, and realize that we all have our areas of expertise. Some of us, although we are very intelligent, have a hard time expressing ourselves through type. Others can phrase their thoughts so eloquently that the rest of us feel like we have chronic foot in mouth disease. It doesn't need to be argued about. Clarification is good, but there is no need to get angry at anyone over a statement that could very well be a misunderstanding.

thanks.
its just very frustrating because i know most of us are all here for the same reason. and i have know i have angered people who i like and those people most likely dont think too highly of me.
i just want it clear my motives have been, and always will be, to support jaycee her family and her daughters. that's why i joined websleuths in the first place. not to stroke my ego or insult other people here.

You did say something that is quite offensive to the people living in that area, so I find this post looks more like you are garnering sympathy. Not accusing you, just saying what it looks like, whereas all that is needed is quick acknowledgment, an apology, and a promise to try and keep that under check in the future.

With all due respect kbl (and songline), I think pausing a bit and not making so many short, quick responses on here would be of benefit. There does not need to be so many short quips and responses on threads - it makes it difficult to read them and sort through the info and discussions. When the two people respond to each other in rapid succession it makes it read as 'chat'.

I am just trying to be honest here and, I hope, constructive.

I know for myself, I will be gone if I find it too laborious to read and post here.

i did apolgozie to my2sisters, and linas and everyonelse.
my short quips are trying to keep things even kieled here. there is a morass of negatviity even about the best aspects of this case (jaycee's courage, resccue, reunion, people shoot,) im trying to keep thinga a little lighter when things are looking bleak here.
on the other hand, the very serious therad about the two little girls has desceneded into a conversation about how much computer time jaycee had.......what is the purpose of that in relation to the very serious problem of the missing girls?

Not all posts need a reply, some just like to contradict, some like to challenge.
Your pure heart needs no defense.
I agree that per SQ. FT. The amount of trash that lives there is appaling, and pr articles written
the Chief himself is a violent Rapist, and the legal force is much of a farce.
But we do not know who is looking out for any of the children. :(
Both of us have had concerns for the posters here that live in the area.
Neither one of us seems to be impressed with what that LE agency is about, and rightfully so.
Just move on...Keep on keeping on. :)

I just wanted to throw this in here about the "area". I am orginally from the Bay Area. I have kids and grandkids living in Discovery Bay and cousins in Brentwood, sister in Pinole, etc. Friends living all around those areas. These are not bad cities, folks and neither is Antioch. There are crappy neighborhoods in just about every city aren't there? Trashy people exist so I suppose they have to live SOMEWHERE. It does seem to me however that there are a number of RSO's clustered in certain areas. And here's an article addressing this issue I thought you all would be interested in reading, the statistics was an eyeopener for me.

NOW that being said, I think maybe there should be a thread opened for this type of discussion "Clusters of RSO's and what to do about it", and get it the heck out of the Garrido Vehicle thread. I haven't taken the time to figure out how to start a thread yet :)

A while back, Molino said he sold Garrido a reddish Volkswagen. Garrido would drive the wagon to People's Park in Berkeley, said homeless men who camp there.

I don't know how I missed this article, but I did. This is also one where Molino is quoted as telling Garrido he can't preach there. I thought People's Park was turned into a parking lot in the 70's but I guess not. I am posting a couple other points made in this article in other sections, but anyway, did anyone see any pictures of this vehicle. If not, when was "a while back"? And where is that car now?

Maybe like this? Where is it?

This one is too new for anything JM would have. More than likely there would have been body damage. Most of cars Jim sold did.

There are quite a few older VW Golfs and Jettas in this area.
